        There's one bar fuel remaining , I just said how much I fueled at the bunk before I started.

                Hope so, waiting for my bike , as it's non ABS need to wait till next month, I am the first one to book non ABS In Chennai. Just saw the first impression on powerdrift, mind blowing

                  Bike engine turned off as I was riding ( I didn't do it). Has happened before with my Unicorn and RTR, so I dont think it's a big deal.!

                      Please explain the circumstances under which it shut off.
                      Did you close the throttle completely, pull in the clutch and maybe downshift at above 60kmph and it shut off? If so, then you might need to change your riding style to avoid such shut offs, since it could be dangerous especially on the highway.

                        Yes, I appreciate your reply and I guess the scenario you mentioned is more or less what happened.
                        I was slowing down, and clutch pulled in, not downshifting and yea, above 60, possibly around 80-90.
                        Could you pm the reason if you know, as to why it happened? I wanna know why and learn from my mistake.

                            When you ride like so, it might mess with the fueling/vacuum at the intake and hence shut off. I've noticed it happens at times on my duke 200 too.
                            Always ensure you ride at an optimum rpm (do not lug the engine, i.e. higher gear slow speed), when you down shift, blip the throttle (read about and practice the technique called 'rev-matching') and do not coast with the throttle closed(or abruptly closing it) and clutch pulled in especially when slowing down from high speeds (>60kmph).
                            So the next time you want to slow down/pull over.. blip the throttle-down shift-blip-downshift shift.. And if you are not downshifting, just blip the throttle when you pull in the clutch as you slow down to avoid such shut-offs.

                            And the fuel economy you reported seems to be good.
                            Am still yet to test ride the Dominar.. hopefully will ride it soon. I heard they were giving test rides at late in the night (to ride it in traffic free conditions) here in Hyderabad (At Varun motors Kondapur)
