    It will be showcased as prototype in AE2018 and guess what!! It will be showcased again in AE2020 and slowly face the same fate as did the HX250R which was showcased later on as Hx250!

        Sad.

        Earlier hero used to specialise in paint jobs and sticker jobs, now they have picked up a new skill, concept bikes for expos.

          Please try to understand that hx250r and hastur debacle happened because of their partnership with ebr which failed. But this time they are developing things on their own and everything is under their control. I cannot reveal too much detail here but I can assure you that they will be launching atleast two production ready products by auto expo.

              There are quite a few adventure touring bikes (either in concept or in production) right now.

              None seem to be keen to take the risk and launch in India first.

              Let's wait and watch how this develops.

                Hero did take the risk and launch Impulse! It didnt catch much attention due to the fact it was highly underpowered! 13 odd bhp for adventure isn’t sufficient!!

                If they manage to get it right with power and price, there will be many takers!!

                          well, I am sorry, I think it should be a little more! 18 odd bhp..

                          But to be honest, it is never about the power.. see how great the Mojo is.. despite being just 27 bhp which is again less considering the competition.. That bike has more than sufficient power and can ride at 120 kmph all day long.. It is a bullet proof engine! haven't come across any Engine failure til day! says a lot about how well the bike is engineered as per the competition standards..

                            Mojo is completely a different thing. The engine is such a gem. Only problem is looks ( for some. Some loves it, some hates it.) which is subjective. But here is problem. Mojo riders are matured riders. They are not much fascinated by Bhp. Currently, most 200c buyers are College students who are young and they do give consideration to Bhps. That's the reason new 200 NS have better sales figure than Apache 200 4V which is more refined one. Indian market is surely a complicated one.

                              Well, from what Naveen has mentioned. the 200cc bike in the making is going to be at a very affordable price.. when people don't have money to buy the 200NS or RTR200 or the Duke 200 or FZ25.. the Xtreme 200 will attract them.. They get 200cc bike at an affordable price! Nothing can predicted at the moment.. Probably 18 odd bhp was just for the purpose of stating the power figures.. which could increase for the production ready bike (if at all ready)
