Yuck. What a horrible looks this bike has. Looks wise it does not even candle to peers the fzs,hornets,Gixxer and rtr200. Performance wise cannot comment. In the article they mentioned the they derived this from 160cc engine. Is it from Xtreme sports?? If yes then you can safely forget that this bike is launched.

I am sure hero will price it around 80-85k. As a result it will compete with fz, gixxer and hornet..

Its not adventure right. Its just a naked bike i guess. The Xtreme200R

According to motorbeam video of of unveiling event hero said it’s from achiever’s engine 149cc one I guess

Which in turn was derived from Unicorn's engine, right? So, basically Hero is launching a in-house developed 200 cc engine which is derived from Honda's 150 cc engine, and this is taking eternity for them to launch. [emoji16]

The production version of the Hero XPulse will be based on the same platform and engine of the Xtreme 200R. The reviews of 200R have not been that great when compared to 200cc bikes of Bajaj or TVS.

How does HERO plan to compete with the Adventure Motorcycle segment of India ?

It is very clear that Hero isn’t targeting to compete with other 200cc bikes! It is also known that they are targeting buyers who are looking to buy 150-180cc bikes! With the amount of torque it produces at low rev range, it will be a perfect city bike! Also, have u seen the performance figures of the Versys 300x

Leave what is on the paper and see the performance! It is a 300cc and it isnt a great performer!

This will be a great option for those who want a multi terrain bike at low budget!! And decent power figures

X-pulse would be a common man's off-roader/dirt bike. 200R is no doubt a perfect city bike.
yes i read the reviews of 300x but did not have the chance to ride it though. From what i read it is a disaster for Kawasaki at least for the Indian Market.

Exactly! Those who can afford KTM Adv390 or 310GS wil go for it! Those who cant will take ownership of the affordable yet a decent performer such as xpulse

People wanted little more on the impulse and I guess thats what the xpulse is all about!

Impulse seemed to die out on highways thanks to its puny 150cc engine!

Dont look at the 200 adv as an alternatve to the 390 adventure. The 390 adventure will be more expensive than the Rc390, so its about 2.5 Lakh.

The 200 adventure will be 1 lakh max. Its an off-road capable. Its like an off-road capable ZMR. Simple, cheap, reliable and comfortable.

Will I buy it a 1 lakh on road? Hell yeah.
1.2? Maybe.
