    Yup, With the CD dawn-esq mudguard it doesn't. But I planned on removing the mudguard and saree guard as soon I take delivery. Without them, it does look a bit skinny.       Just got an call from my dealer. My delivery date got pushed back to April 19 from the previous Jan "last week". He explained that only people who picked the custom colors would face a delay. Anyone else got any notification?

          Some of the good accessories are decently priced for a bike of this size and price.
          Some of them however are priced in "really!!!" category.

            Exactly! Engine guards wind screen seems reasonable. But sadly no exhaust kit on offer. BTW Can anyone tell me what's the "RSU finisher kit"? I can't seem to make out where they fit on the bike in the descriptive image.

                  damn, that's almost a 6 month wait! i hope its production capacity issues and not quality related that they are trying to tide over

                    RE always give extra time for themselves with delivery dates, I got my desert Strom a month before my delivery promise so did my friends. I think the real delivery bracket would be at February last week or March first and not to take into account of a small percentage who cancel at the last moment or change their mind after delivery delay or even the test drive experience. He told me the reason for delay was due to the workers strike and high booking numbers they're receiving my dealership alone got around 68 bookings (for both models) till yesterday. So, fingers crossed.

                      Could be many issues. First of all last month there were strikes in RE factories and there was a press release that they lost 25000 bikes production volume. Also I read else where that the Nov and Dec batch is allocated for Export. Also there is large amount of booking already on launch.

                            Oh yeah. I think those who book now mostly will see deliveries from January third week. People who book next year might have to wait a long time I guess.

                              A capable off-roader at a mouthwatering price? Damn,honestly, That would've stolen the twins thunder and I kinda think RE would stay away from the Himalayan tag for a couple of more years till the dust settles down completely.

                                No, I think the hick-up is only for the initial batches. Once they get the ball rolling the waiting period will go down. Besides, RE needs to rake in sales quick! the Bajaj-Triumph gang ain't gonna be messing around for too long.
