Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
Correct Interpretation would be that they want us to be beta testers before they unleash it on export markets where chances of a law suit are pretty high. So we pay, we test and help RE in coming up with a less faulty product. Offcourse , they will continue to dish out same bikes hereOriginally posted by jazzysaravana

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
Can't deny the element of truth stated. However, I do believe the Himalayan BS3 fiasco must have been a hard lesson learnt for RE. They've been going on about how much care is being taken so as not to have repeat of the past. I'm sure a lot of us are keeping our fingers crossed about the possibility of better engineering & QC from RE with the Twins.Originally posted by .sushilkumar View PostCorrect Interpretation would be that they want us to be beta testers before they unleash it on export markets where chances of a law suit are pretty high. Their website alongwith some good videos, is up. Check it out here: https://royalenfield.com/motorcycles...heritagereborn
I think good times are coming for cruiser guys. Hopefully, a lot will improve when the bikes hit the road.---

I'm predicting the Chennai on road price to be around $5000. Let's see!Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostTheir website alongwith some good videos, is up. Check it out here: https://royalenfield.com/motorcycles...heritagereborn

I also think there is gonna be a vast array of original custom modification kits like how Triumph does for their Bonnies.
Looks promising!

Here’s a great, in-depth look at the twins by the Aussie YouTuber, Dangar Motorcycling:

Quite an insightful video. The colour of the Interceptor in the video is 'Baker's express' which I hope they offer in IndiaOriginally posted by rideon74 View PostHere’s a great, in-depth look at the twins by the Aussie YouTuber, Dangar Motorcycling:

10,000 AUD... Wonder how much that would translate to.
As per reliable sources in RE, 2.99 ex-showroom is what the Interceptor is likely to be priced at.

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
As I’d mentioned in the other forum - groovy! Just made the whole design complete. Great going! [emoji1305][emoji1305]Originally posted by Auto View PostPosting a couple of pics from the Interceptor thread on team-bhp... I think they should offer alloys as standard, it makes the bike look much better and premium. Also, tubeless tyres will make it much more touring friendly (at least psychologically!)- When Life throws you a curve, Lean into it! -

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
I am happy that the whining noise of the engine is minimal - which is quite prominent on the Bonneville Street twin. I hate that whining noise the engine makes.Originally posted by jazzysaravana View PostWow, sounds almost the same as the Bonneville Street Twin, a bit more raspier, thanks to that 270° crank in parallel twin!
The exhaust is much more raspier even in stock form, and I am very eager to know the plan RE has for the S&S exhaust now

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
Sound is alright, in fact I would have liked it a bit less louder. For a bike of this category I am expecting the quality to be few levels higher than what RE currently offers. And I don't even want to think of servicing, which is should get a big kick in the butt to match this bike.
Let us hope they they have not compromised on quality for cost because we all know this will not sell like 350 or 500 for that matter and the prospective buyers will compare with other brands in the market in this segment and price is not the first priority for them.
