So, even if RE able to sell close 2,000 units per month then I would say it's a victory for RE and if they have a right WOM, then they can sustain and improve on these numbers as well.

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
Even, if RE prices it under 3L OTR, the volume in this price segment is only few thousand units and our Indian market is a very price sensitive one at that. The cheaper Classic 500 sells approx. 1500-2000 units per month, the 390 KTM twins in the range of 700-1000 units and even the much cheaper Dominar sells just about 1500 units per month.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View Post

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
Absolutely. Going by my sources the OTR will not go north of ₹3.5lakhs. So they will easily do more than 1500 units if that's the case.
It has all going for it . Looks cool, can take a pillion comfortably, good power and torque, and totally VFM. If the Interceptor becomes fairly reliable its gonna be big winner for sure!
I think this is gonna be game changer in the ₹2.5 to ₹4.5 lakhs segment until the dormant Japanese brands like Honda and Yamaha wake up before its too late.Originally posted by jpcoolguy View PostEven, if RE prices it under 3L OTR, the volume in this price segment is only few thousand units and our Indian market is a very price sensitive one at that. Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
The only guys, Bajaj-Triumph partnership, who could challenge RE in this segment are atleast 3 years from bringing in their 1st motorcycle to the market, by which time RE 650 twins would have been runaway successful. Jawa, if Mahindra plans to launch, too can only compete with the 350 Classics and Bullets. So, RE has another win on their hands with these twins. Less we talk about Honda, the better, who only seems to be interested in milking indians by selling their wideeee range of scooters.Originally posted by jazzysaravana View PostI think this is gonna be game changer in the ₹2.5 to ₹4.5 lakhs segment until the dormant Japanese brands like Honda and Yamaha wake up before its too late.

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
The Zigwheels article states the date as November 14th. If that’s true, then it looks like RE’s going to utilise the Rider Mania dates of Nov 16th & 17th for maximum publicity.Originally posted by gauravtheknight View PostAny news on expected date of India launch?

The price looks just perfect. But arent you guys missing out on something.
I doubt the potency of RE SVC. They are already impotent when it comes to the single mil 350s and 500s.
Only time will tell and I am pretty damn sure if I am going for it. I would wait atleast 2 years as they would learn something in 2 years time after roll outSplendor - 2k to 2006

Re: Royal Enfield 650 Twin Engine Unveiled!
The India launch of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 will happen sooner than expected. Late last month, the launch of these retro motorcycles will slated for December 2018/Early January 2019. Now though, Royal Enfield dealers confirm that the motorcycles will be launched in India during the middle of November 2018.
