Very true, even i think that Yamaha is going to launch these performance kits.I dont understand the reason why are people criticising Yamaha, when they provide some good stuff then also people dont accept it and rather find one or two reason out of it to criticise, come on guys grow up yaar.Atleast we should appreciate the effort of Yamaha, they are really giving their best in providing us with the best technologies which no other manufacturer in India has even planned or even thought.I mean just look at their product line up in the 150's and above(ofcourse R15 for its performance) FZ16,FZ-S,R15, Upcoming New FAZER,what else do they need to do.I highly doubt that we would get any competitor in this range in upcoming two year. Now they only need Gladiator 165 to just kill the competetion

        wanna eat my words now...

but isn't it good for the fz riders if those kits are launched here???

tvs has these performance kits and tested it long back...even the ARE participants had a chance to ride these sweet bikes....

but why are they not launching.. because shitty rules and arai certification is a major problem...so i dont think yamaha is going to launch these atleast in the near future...

if the perf kits are launched then all the rtr owners too can rejoice... since even tvs will be following yamaha in the launch...

yaa even i do agree wid u see in india we dont hav any special norms for special performance products
and if we talk abt yamaha its all abt performance

cant somethin be done to alter these these norms
coz bak in 90's the government banned the legendry rx

and we should appriciate yamaha tht atleast they are offrin us some performance part whic r not provided by others
atleast they dont make bhel puri what bajaj does
mixin all the parts of the bike and makin a new one out of it

^^^they have not tested these kits in india nor anyone has ridden those bikes in india...maybe daytona themselves preparing these kits to sell it in the market who knows...
atleast tvs has showcased these bikes and a lot of them have ridden those bikes..

so its very early to decide that yamaha are offering these kits which are not even designed by them...

As was the story 2-3 months back yamaha had asked daytona to design this kits.
at that time it was just a speculation but the video proves that atleast the kits are actually been tested now.
R15 have been exclusively sold here in numbers so obviously yamaha would be the one bringing the performance parts through their india wide sales network .
Daytona on its own won't be able to sell many units on their own.
                  just my thoughts

It would be awesome if those kits are launched..but then again i wouldnt bank on rumours...maybe someone here having a repo with a yamaha insider could substantiate on this topic....though i will be amongst the first
                          to lay hands on them

Watch the following interview of Yukimine Tsuji (Yamaha India's boss) on CNBCTV18:

Yukimine Tsuji is giving an hint that we can see 600 cc bike in the near future....

Yamaha India's new boss is very excited. The R15 and the FZ16 are doing well, and there's more coming...

The 600 cc wont come in , without the introduction of 250 cc(Read that as YBR 250 or Fazer 250),

Yams will go step by step..i guess

Remember the test mule speculation of a Fazer 150, i think it is probaly it the 250 cc not 150 cc

                            They already have a 150[FZ-16 & FZ-s,R-15(149.8 CC)],why should they want 1 more...

                              Guys..

came to know from the showroom that the kits are some really professional kits and only for racing purposes, for racing teams and racing riders thats why the high cost..not simply for sale across the counters ..and the performance is really really something to look forward to..some serious top whack never before seen in India...your guess is as good as mine..
and there is a Yamaha race in Chennai on Sunday 28 June... and press launch before that in Chennai..and some testing??? at the race track prior to the weekend races...so head for the track guys..
