  • We all know bajaj.. how they launch a bike..Always a compoment upgrade..But in the brink of all the hot news i guess we have forgotten something..
Are'nt Bajaj were supposed to launch Ninja 250r in MAY ..and now it's mid of JUNE still no news about ninja..
Hey all wannabe NINJA owners ...this is not the bike for us..
IF 220 DTSF-I was not able to meet our Expectation i am damm sure this 220 dtsi will never be able even to match the older 220..
And regarding the top speed +15 km/hr than the older one ..What matters most is the manner in which that speed is achieved ..
There are more things than +15 km/hr ..Handling,Usable power and Torque and much more..
I currently own 2004 180 DTS-i and still waiting for something big ..
I would be more than happy if this was an 280-300 cc ,30bhp, liquid cooled bike under 1.5 lakhs but now i have no options left .. Will have to BUY ninja for 1-1.5 lakhs extra bucks...
Pulsar 220 with DTSFI was launched way back ..now they should have atleast bring bought 280-300c bike..

      • ^^^ Looks as expected. I can see a carb in there. Any performance figures & prices?
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

            • Finally the specifications of P220 is out.It has got a bigger catalytic convertor and a bigger exhaustec system,as well.It has also got a new decals for the speedo!!

              21PS@8500 rpm

                  • That looks like a 32mm keihen carb or a 29 mm keihen (zma carb).
                    good good.
Should be priced on par with zma i guess.

                        • That doesn look like a mikuni to me , the sides on a mikuni are different , look at the accelerator cable holder/clamp too, zma ish.room for 2 cables.

Look where the air screw is , its on the right like the zma ,
the 32 mm mikuni has it on the left.

well i maintain speeds of 45 to 50 ...... i fluctuate speeds slighlty... im cautious and never let the engine knock.... since im asked to stay below 60 mileage seems to be working out for me

                            • The bike does seem to be somewhat dated in looks, may be it because it's too common with other Pulsar siblings.

And BTW.. So is it the first time for Bajaj to introduce... "F" version of the same bike?

                              too many questions actually..
What Happens to the FI 220? I think it will continue, just like other bikes! May be for those who need little more mileage.
