the prices are speculative only... and the price 2.85 L quoted may be excluding taxes etc so we could expect somewhere around 3.25 like dual disc said. But am sure nothing below 2.85 is going to be coming.Originally posted by prajwalkashyap View PostAnyone else has their friend/brother/sister/cousin/uncle/aunt working in Bajaj and can give some more legitimate speculation?

What about the launching date / month / year ??
The above price is perfect when compare with other international brands. Either ways companies are doing business here and 1 out of 100 among us will buy this bike.... After the launch we xbhpians do nothing but open another thread with another speculation and curse bajaj for the over pricing of the product...
Weather the price < or > 3 lacs those who have the money will buy this product.
Lets c who among us will buy this bike even its price < 2.5 lacs.

dont compare a car and bike please
We all can see that ninja is still not rolled out in india and is compared with car worth 3 lakhs and all, but let us keep the car and ninja bike worth 3 lakhs one side and just talk about our own country production bike HHkarizma, when it was launched in india at a whopping cost of 80k + people compared it with a second hand maruti 800 and many others told that put some extra thousands and go for a second hand esteem or something, but people those who felt to buy a karizma went for it and those who wanted to stick to their family commitments purchased 2nd hand maruti 800,i feel we have bunch of people who have commitments to their family to buy a car, then they should fulfill those commitments first and if they have enough amount to buy 1 and have choices within their budget than they should buy it.
Simply cribbing on the pricing of the bike by comparing and all is like just one person asks the other person why people drive mercedes when at the same cost one can get 12 alto, as again its a matter of choice and safety, security, social status and loads of factors, but again as i told earlier if commitments are first to buy a car for any individual family then one should go and buy the car whether second hand or new whichever fits every individual budget. no xbhp member will come and ask you why you purchased second hand.
We all dont have the same financial balance sheet as others have, if we take a look at other side of india even a 100cc bike is enough to satisfy ones commitments and needs, now this commitment and needs depend on ones pocket size too.
I am not hurting any ones sentiments here but its just what i feel i have wrote

well, its a risk for the company too to overprice the bike, coz many of them can think in that way, if they have the amount (say >3L) y not stretch and go for a better bike which others dont have...Originally posted by whizzkid_ram View PostSo another R1/Busa owner is going to emerge in the tropical country

true that. There is a whole new Pulsar in-the-making, that wont be a upgrade to the 220 or anything close. It will be a all-new bike which will give the Pulsar lineage a new dimension.Originally posted by GP_freak View PostHagn, thats nothing man. Actually i was believing that the new 220 is the last bit of the pulsar series. But Bajaj R&D is so efficient that Pulsar range are not going to die anytime soon. The iterations are to come for some real time. Actually that was news for me. Could be for many too.
Now who ever wish to take it, take it. No comments pls
Not goin OT and comin back to the Ninja, the first consignment will be here anytime or it might have also reached by now.
The 250 will be out by Diwali. Pricing stays unconfirmed.
