      Alright, the math is what I did at such unearthly hours in school and college and Math it is here too

      The revised Math leads to a figure of ~510184 INR. This would be fairly close to an ex-showroom price for the 883 Roadster Low, given the facts presented about the import duty structure by a fellow xBHPian in this thread. This is slightly less as correctly calculated by Ken. 19.6% VAT deduction at source in the US of A and then 16% VAT addition at the destination in India is what I did. Did I get it right

      Ofcourse, this is all speculation as someone rightly pointed out, but atleast we can try and get some sense of what kind of pricing are we looking at with the FatBoys and Roadsters of this world!

        Guys before you do the maths, you have to take into account that most probably the Harley UK office may be handling the distribution for India (Middle-East & some Asian countries are covered by them). So, when you say UK, then transfer prices could be higher than US.

        Plus the cost may go up even further as they have to add the saree-guard for India

          Unlike R1's and BUSA's, these are some high-end bikes that actually make sense for India.

          Maybe RE should also take the hint and stop selling poorly-made bikes with the awesome 'Random-breakdown' feature.
