There's no competition for 'itself' as XCD135/D135 have failed in the market add XCD125/Platina125 to the list so expect Bajaj to stop XCD135/D135 very soon....expect another 'sprint' in 125cc in few months from now !!

just an afterthought, ain't they stretching "Pulsar" brand a bit too far? P150,P180,Old P200,P220 and now P135.where is this going?

If this is branded as Sprint 135 or anything else....its good

But, if it is named Pulsar Sprint 135 (as somebody suggested) its real dilution of the Pulsar brand.

Initially Bajaj said, they would keep the Pulsar brand only for higher capacity bikes, but if they brand a 135cc also as Pulsar, it would not result in a good image of the brand, though it might end up in good number of sales for the company (and anyways that is what they care about!)

I feel Bajaj is trying too much, it all seems chaotic!

totally agree with devilpulsarian . they are really diluting pulsar brand . in short term they will see increased sales as someone who cant afford a 'Pulsar' can go for it but the same person when he might have more money will go for something else as the pulsar series have become too common and boring

                            XCD135 - 10 BHP/5 Gears
                            Pulsar135 - 13.0 BHP/ 5 Gears (best of D135 n XCD135)

I disagree, a P135 would\should\could bleed the HH dominance.... and this would still be a premium over the XCD (hopefully)
Honestly it makes a lot of business sense!

The attempt to show off the 'pulsar' traits in XCD were anyways evident from the last TVC!

And lastly, this will do the brand Pulsar a lot good! and hopefully would also transalate into bigger better changes to the premium "Pulsar" range!
