Why dint i think of that logic?
???Maximum similarities
Damn!!they just changed the sticker job!
That means we have a Bajaj spy among us.Then sure the sentiments of bikers who are unhappy with pulsar branding of the bike must have reached the mkting guys at Chakan. Not that it matters now but hope they wont repeat it again in future.[Pulsar 100 anyone??]Yup they have changed the webpage and also the source code nomenclature / file names etc. Now try searching it, you will not get anything P135 or 135
P.S. i wish the bike had half fairing to it like Stunner!Last edited by RascalAngel; 11-24-2009, 10:46 AM.2004 Pulsar 150 DTSi

Bajaj Walon
Why dont one of you register here at xBhp. Intelligent thing to blurr the tail section where 135 was written+ changing source codes etc
Be a little more intelligent and keep the name something else- maybe Pulse135
ROFLMAO.... Thats surely in their minds i guess. As Satan said with Bajaj- expect the unexpected. Theres a US size too - Ultra small.Originally posted by yamahatrooper View PostIf it is a 135 cc pulsar Bajaj thinks they can sell bikes with the same logic as Tee shirts or Jackets lol - S,M,L,XL - 135 - 150 - 180 - 220. Lol!
Am already tired of P150 and P180 trying to drag etc which i have to avoid- now P135 too joins the party.Originally posted by jigar2speed View PostIt's simple marketing strategy my friend, you P220 users are the brand ambassadors of Pulsar family. When people hear the name pulsar the image P220 guys, so why not bajaj take advantage of it ?l
Marketing strategy- hope this hits the 220 sales, i find this a crazy move to the say the least. We were expecting a P250 and we get a whopping P135
Hope they dont launch a Pulsar "Puch" now, "usi ki kami hai"

I would say there's no point on cribbing on a smaller sibling of the Pulsar family. If Fazer can come as low as 150.. Pulsar 135 is not even fraction of it
The same thing goes for R15, after all you get the same genes and physiological factor of riding a bike of frugal genes.
Look at the brighter side, even cheaper and easy availability of spares. And after all our family is growing. Whoever has bought a pulsar has not bought it for the sake of exclusivity. Pulsar stands for Power, Reliability , Efficiency.
Guys welcome our new family member the Pulsar 135 DTS-Si??
Been There, Done That; Better!

1. It's an existing segment, Bajaj the only player, this segment is to eat into 125cc segment which is crowded and has hot competition, Bajaj failed in 125cc (XCD125/D125/Platina125). So 135 is safe and lonely segment (*)!!Originally posted by vulpine View Post1 .why would they launch a bike in not so important non existing "135 cc segment"
2.why would they have another 135 when they already have one?!!
3. and they are not fools to degrade the "pulsar" brand
4. P150 seriously needs upgrade as competition is eating away its market share
2. They have already 2 of them Disc135 and XCD135 (non sellers actually)
3. That's business strategy, you buy it or leave it !
4. Right but is eaten by better bikes like Uni/Xtreme/Hunk/GSR/FZ..
(*) Earlier Ambition from Hero Honda was loner in this segment (launched in 2001), Bajaj entering this segment after 8 years !

Bingo! May be there will be a small price difference... The Pulsar 135 may be a bit around the CBF125!Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostThey actually have two.Dis135 and XCD 135.

Every single automobile manufacturer has its "members" here.... and it only goes "beyond" that.... Inteligent people will understand what I said :P

Crappy things
If its a P135, then bajaj is looking for a world record
Pulsar 135, 150, 180, 200, 220, 220 Fi
no two wheeler manufacturer in the world produced so many bikes under a same name and very little different cc config.
Give me a pistol & lemme shoot them.. why not a 300 - 400 cc ?
crappy things. the pic looks like a xcd and even hunk
EDIT: 180 added ! ;-)Last edited by amvj; 11-24-2009, 04:27 PM.

lolz you guys are funny :P
Pulsar 150-180 were anyways a twin bike brand.... do you have any other bike that you can think off which shares the same brand name?
No one cribbed when it moved to P200-220FI then why crib now?
Stop Overreacting.... this will be a boon to A LOT of commuters who aspired for the Pulsar brand but were more "practical" in thier decisions!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

I am not sure about others but at least I am not cribbing
I am really happy to see better products for commters and Bajaj is taking competition to a different level altogether.
IMAGINE: a better looking, better speced, light weight, competitively priced P150 with 135 engine which delivers power as well as a good fuel economy - what else an executive commmuter could have asked for.
Bajaj is really keeping up the tempo and making market more and more competitive at VFM front.
