The only thing i liked in this bike is the rear no: plate holder. I believe thats the nxt upgrade they are going to bring in all over the pulsar range in a couple of months. Baja will seriously repent for this action of theirs over the coming years. First it was the degrading of P220 Fi to P220 carb just to sell it in large nos. Now this is what we are getting , a further degraded model!! NExt is what?-> P100?
Now dont tell me that the small exhaust is for correcting the centre of gravity as in FZ!!
there was a post in team bhp which clearly pointed out from where the bajaj got the inspiration for this fairing of so called p 135 ...chk it out
OT: Kindly Exuse us for degrading pulsars by buying the 220 dtsi. They have actually made a better bike to which every one agrees.

        • if the pics on page 24 are what the bike is.. its something.. i mean i dont know what to say? feel happy or sad???

it seems like someone raided a bajaj distributors godown, and assembled whatever he could get his hands on. Are you sure this is a spy pic? and not someone showing his modded xcd or something off?

            • XCD sprint aka P135 is here...like every other bajaj, impressive list of features and with a styling not to everyones taste...and no matter what you guys say here,it'll sell coz posers are at large...anyway,pretty decent job I'd say.Ya, it looks a little akward(for eg:tyre hugger is overdone IMO) but it's not as bad as you guys are projecting it to be...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

What I think is .... if the pics posted on the thread are to be believed and they are actually of the bike which is slated to be released, then -

                  1) The rear fender is on the lines of R1 and R6. They look pretty neat (the neatest in any Indian bike currently available on road), but then they won't be doing the job of stoping mud and dust being trajected out of the running wheels

                  2) The tyre hugger no doubt looks mis-designed and could have been designed a million other way (I really think Bajaj should keep our AMVJ as lead designer!! ) but they are actually there to do the job what a rear fender should have been doing

My personal opinion.... I might be wrong at that

I agree, people's expectations were high because of the brand name Pulsar. This bike will be priced almost as that of the other underpowered 125ccs and will provide maximum VFM.It surely gonna sell even if it looks weird!!

Exactly the point of putting Rear hugger in first place from Bajaj......

Even Bajaj Knows many will be just taking it away but they need to keep it there......

Smart Thinking..... Chahiye toh rakho nahi toh Throw it away

                          • The bike sure looks a bit awkard on the pictures but if I compare it with goodbyetraffic.in then I don't know because whatever we see under the cover there it actually looks much better than the ones posted here.

My initial impression on the bike. Take that rear tyre hugger out and also the front visor ( I personally don't like these visors and prefer naked styling) and the bike will look much better.

Also I guess the tyre hugger is extended so much so as to clear ARAI regulations.

Don't jump on the specification so early. If this is a 4V then no way its going to be 10bhp only.If I remember than the proto of Sprint shown on Auto Expo had 12.5ps of power (Not sure).Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

                              Yep,

Except the rear tyre hugger, the rest of the bike looks ok to me.
But also I have my doubts if this the final product

                              • If priced right, this will kill the 125 market. Because when people are getting split seats, clipons, digital speedo, etc they will surely buy it.
We can judge this by seeing the various desperate mods done on present 100-150 cc bikes by their owners.
