From a Business point of view.. I think its definitely a masterstroke.

When the likes of Yamaha can scale down its Super Sport series from the 1000 cc YZF-R1, 600 cc YZF-R6 to the 125 cc YZF-125 and yet maintain its "Premium" image... then why not this..??

A tank pad as well. Looks like there are going to be a lot of things new for a 135cc bike here. Any guesses on the pricing of this bike???? Might give the Stunner a run for its money.

Honestly it makes a lot of business sense!

The attempt to show off the 'pulsar' traits in XCD were anyways evident from the last TVC!

And lastly, this will do the brand Pulsar a lot good! and hopefully would also transalate into bigger better changes to the premium "Pulsar" range!
You were talking about HHs dominance taking the market as a whole, right?

Well..... Split seats and bigger discs up front. Can see a few cosmetic changes as well to the sides. Can see that its 135cc at the place where the Pulsar has the cc written.

The 125cc - 135cc segment seems to be hotting up.

If this is branded as Sprint 135 or anything else....its good

But, if it is named Pulsar Sprint 135 (as somebody suggested) its real dilution of the Pulsar brand.

Initially Bajaj said, they would keep the Pulsar brand only for higher capacity bikes, but if they brand a 135cc also as Pulsar, it would not result in a good image of the brand, though it might end up in good number of sales for the company (and anyways that is what they care about!)

I feel Bajaj is trying too much, it all seems chaotic!
