I don't know if it is COCO but Moonlight bunk is good. It is in Somajiguda, near Pulla Reddy.

    In pune for BPCL:
    coco rto at pune station.
    pune expressway at talegaon naka
coco tembhurni - pune solapur highway
    coco chicholi
bp khedshivapur & kelewadi -pune satara highway.

These are some of my sites.Other than these there are a lot many in pune city handled by our competitors.
all you have to do is ask if it's a COCO pump & if it has automation.Tht's it.
most BPCL COCO pumps are automated/in process of automation.

Not happening mates atleast for 10 years.facts are these :

1)nobody can guarantee the safety of equipmets against vandalism. Here people loot petrol bunks even when there are so many people around.forget about self fuelling, atleast from oil companies point of view.
2)the ROs are a means to sustain & provide jobs to local people thus fulfilling one of the oil ministries criteria.
3)Back end infrastructure (technology ) even though present today needs a major overhaul to support automation especially all over india, which facilitates self fuelling.
4)attitude of indian junta ,to be felt like being serviced as against the humilation of self fuelling requires a paradigm shift in thinking
5)plastic money usage is more only in urban & semi urban areas.self fuelling doesn't support cash ,atleast for now.
6)self fuelling doesn't guarantee tampering with electronics of the dispenser which anyways will give less irrespective of person fuelling.

There are many other soft issues too ,which needs attention before the above is brought into effect.

    Guys,
Any recommended pumps around the KR PURAM/marathalli area, apart from shell? I know we can bank up on shell, but good to have other options as well.

As told by Darkknight, I have seen only one bunk with the "density display" for the products and that is the India Garage (BPCL). This is situated right next to the "Jewels de Paragon" building near MG Road. There is a drive in McDonalds within the bunk premises.
I go there for Speed 97.
I would recommend this one and the Shell Petrol bunk on Lavelle Road.

I faced the same issue almost a year back, shifted bunks but then everything was crap.. Then Shell came to rescue.

U know what, my wife told me that her mileage increases by 10kmpl on her scooty when she puts Shell petrol.. hehehe..

    some bunks...

The IBP petrol bunk on RT Nagar main road(opp domino's) is not a good bunk as far as i know. They tried to trick my friend a couple of times. And we almost had a fight with them.

I think the shell station on bellary road (near to mekhri circle) is good.

and I usually go to the IOC bunk on cunningham road near to golf course(I work near by ) donno how good it is..

Any body having any info on this bunk please do let me know.

    Shameful

What a shame that Indian commuters are cheated at all places and there is very little we could do about it. Be it petrol bunks, delivery delays/scratches, service, repair, roads, etc.

Some petrol bunks I avoid the most,

    - Nandhini Layout - one of the worst
    - All most all petrol bunks in Raj kumar road starting from the one near Vivekananda college
    - Petrol bunk near modi hospital.
    - Banashankri petrol bunk.
    - All petrol bunks in Utharahalli road

For now, I fill up petrol only at shell petrol bunks, but I will not be surprised, even if they turn out to be cheaters

I used to fill fuel from the RT nagar HP pump, until few years ago, when i realised i am not getting the correct quantity, i stopped goin there.

Another pump, i know that cheats a lot is the HP pump near cantonment rly stn.

    Boss,

I'm no longer in the industry but its typically BPCL > HP >> IOC when it comes to quality or quantity - so the word on the street goes!

PS: A friend on seeing this thread told me:
"My friend who worked with IOC said tht bunk people are not salaried guys. they are hired just to save petrol from users and the one who dispenses least petrol and brings in more moolah gets incentive....scary but true...ek andolan chalao and make india like other countries where u dispense ur own petrol."
