Guys, guys, guys, lets not forget, it's the "aam junta" we're talking about over here, you know, the kind of people who will never follow rules unless their a!@es get whipped first. And once they get this whipping, then they will blindly follow the rules.

Forgive me for being so blunt, but it is just a matter of getting used to it, & once we are used to it, we will just get used to it. Fact of the matter is, rules have to be enforced at some point of time for them to be really useful the way they were meant to be.
It doesn\'t matter if you win by an inch or by a mile, winning\'s winning!!!

hehehe...well thats the govt 4 u .. always trying to force their minds onto us. Compulsory helmets . They say that biker accidents increase 500% since a few years. Well yeah they may have gone up 1000%, but u know the reason for that ... well they r endless, but to mention some;;; the bad conditions of roads (PS i speak 4 mumbai), car drivers always tryin n changin lanes. and Worst of all BEST n Truck drivers ... they $uck.

Well a helmet while on a highway or while racing/dragging/stuntin is necessary but whats the use of using a helmet in a city like mumbai. Damn roads so bad, speed brakers, traffic all over the place i mean when do u actually go above 60 kmph ... And y do they need helmets 4 pillion riders. just too freakin dumb ...

But what the hell ... they always have their way.. so please someone guide me to a helmet store

            guys guys,
            safety first.
i fell down from my bike on 11 th jan at 4 pm.was at full throttle on my zma.above the 125 km mark.just applied the front disc brake 2 slow down, there was some engine oil on the road from another car, skidded like hell.LOL.
            all in a sec.
dragged on the tarmac for more than 100 M !
i was wearing gloves, leather jacket,Woodland offroad boots and VEGA helmet.
            guess what?
i am having only two wounds-one in my left elbow, another in my right foot, just below my knee- that happened coz my jeans had ripped apart from the 100 m skid.that too with only a small portion of my skin gone. NO DEEP WOUNDS !
The condition of my helmet proves that i was supposed to BE LATE.! It was completely smashed.
And my jacket was torn apart into many pieces(i loved that jacket very much)beyond repair,my leather gloves too were in a very bad shape(so that now i can have my food happily!)
I was supposed to be in DUBAI the next day by morn 6.30 flight.and LOL now am in dubai, sitting here happily typing this note !
Minimal damages to my bike.just 4300 Rs for damages alone.
            Now u think guys.
Wannabe safe or thinking abt inconvenience.
Am always confident with my riding gear on.
            ride safe 4 ur family

Ya, Actually i too think this rule sucks......they really force us to wear the helmet....it should b optional...who wants to wear...wears...n who does't wants...does't wears....that way it gonna b cool.....
But At Last Helmet SAVES.... :>

@ayush_sasi: & u lived to tell us the tale...!!!
it is amazing to see someone staying alive after getting dragged on tarmac for 100 mtrs...& that too after a fall @ speeds in excess of 125kmph...![:0]
well if u says so...i have to believe u

@parv: buddy its ur life...! & who knows it better than u, that it comes only once...!

@all: i can post some really gory pics of bike accidents (w/o helmet cases) ... but thinks that it'll be of no use until everyone says to go for it.
a fall at speeds as low as 30kmph can be fatal for ur skull... i have a proof for that... a pic... extremely gory... want to see that...?
vrrrooooooommm....BOOMMM...! Heard the sonic boom? Yeah, it was me...!

had gone to the helmet shop to get a pair of gloves.
was shocked when i reached there, the whole shop was crowded as though there was some sale on helmets..
did feel nice when i saw this, now atleast the people will wear helmets due to the new law...

i dunno why people make excuses to wear a helmet,
its all inside in your head, dont let it spill out, wear a helmet.

and about tht hair style problem, carry a small comb
You will pay for your sins. If you have already paid, please disregard this message.

                    I fully agree with it.
Hell, peeps should have enough brains to wear it on their own without someone having to tell them to.

As for the people who do not want to wear a helmet.....
I think they don't have anything worth protecting inside their heads anyway

I wear one everytime I get on a Bike.
I put on my seat-belt everytime I'm in my car.

And in India, it makes a lot more sense. I have seen a rider's brain scattered on the road, and trust me it's an ugly sight.

guys helmet is a absolute yes for me.when i am with my helmets there is no stopping me on my zma dont expect t my zma to show below 100kmph inside city long roads and below 120kmph on nh47 it just gives me confidence all the way and sucks adrenaline in return ..............
and while in my accent dls with seat belts and lowered steering wheel anything between 140 and 160 kmph is the reading on my speedo .. i just love it adore it i have got a studs ninja and its pure ecstacy to slide down the jaw-guard down while at 115kmph on fourth gear and slip in fifth gear and then its................... DHOOM MACHALE DHOOM ..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                            personallyi hate helmets
                            it shouldnt be made compulsary
                            its ones personal choice
as if waring a helmet will save u from being crushed by a 10 ton lorry
                            comon be serious
the only difference is if u sqash ur head then ur matter will be in the helmet rther than out spilled on the road
its easier for the mch guys to clean up

Aa for the rule ... few days 4m now there will be whole lot of chain snatching incidents and ppl wont b able to recognize the thieves due to helmets and then govt will reconsider..

(Same thing happened in the valley few years ago when militants forced all women to wear burkhas and military was worried that militants n terrorists would use burkhas to hide/escape )

Cant understand y ppl just cant let freedom prevail...let us choose na
