Bangalore's elevated highway finally open

    Flyover closed!

    The elevated flier' was closed today from 7pm, which lead to psychic traffic jam on the entire 10km stretch!
    luckily i left office at 9pm and reached silk board in 20mins using the service road below
    A cop said, an accident occurred, so the flier' is closed, No concrete News still!

      This happened couple of days back on the Elevated Expressway!!

        ^^ this happened 3 days back, the cabbie is suspected to have driven the opposite direction!

        No, the flier' was not blocked due to this. I inquired the cops there today, it was closed due to some "maintainance" last night!

          GOt to know the elevated flyover was opened...now seeing pages and pages going over that topic..very informative guys...

          i hope the person on the star city or disco survived...looks catastrophic ... hope he wasn't thrown down either..

          guys who go there to test out the roads, the roads are already tested by some.to the late goers on the flyover...stick to the speed limit.eyes open.make sure masti happens on the ground..not like 30 or 50 metres above ground.

              I rode on this flyover for the first time y'day.

              As it is I am scared of heights and these pics (seen on another forum) was making me very nervous. I was really not comfortable riding on the left extreme Those tall buildings remind me that I am riding at considerable elevation.

              I don't understand why isn't there any board indicating the entry ramp from E-City Phase1? I lost my way, took an U turn

              From start till E-City Phase2, rode in 10mins flat Boon I would say. No more pvt buses & pedestrians Need to get used to the 'elevation' though

                Took this road for the first time yesterday! The quality of the construction seems pretty good. Managed to reach EC from Silkboard in around 5 mins.

                But, guys be very very careful on this flyover. Its pretty unsafe, more so by morons who are speeding beyond their limits on the flyover.

                  & to top it.. the Road is not wide enough.. ( Mysore road flyover seems little wider than this).

                  Anyway I always see cars fighting for space to overtake each other beyond speed limit of 80kmph & their are some other morons who drive @ 40kmph on Elevated express way..
