Because They don't know ABCD of the Whole Process the first Agreement needed the Nod from the Govt which the F1 boss bernie got it after that the govt had to spend some money but as usual couldn't and MS gill then Termed F1 as a entertainment and Vijay Malaya and Jp group then handled the Whole Process though the involvement of Malaya has been done now it was only in initial stages now all in all the JP group is handling the Whole Process and one of the best F1 Track designer was roped in to do the work.

        News Approved
all the seats will be sold like hot cakes dude believe me there are a lot of f1 fans out there including me who would give any thin to check em out especially when it would be my 1st time to see a real Ferrari lol in time

I don't think they would allow anyone except for professional racers (read: Cars) having a track racing licence to drive in there. At the max we may get to see a premium race club being developed there...... but that too is a rare possibility considering the amount of money spent on maintainance and upkeep of such tracks!
Nope only f1 and gp2(may be not in our track) races will go on over here general public will not be allowed under any circumstances as far as i know

Now MS Gill what can i say they are Piece of idiots. And the Whole Track is being Maintained by Jaypee Group. The Only thing they needed was a permission which they got in the start except that nothing that Govt has to do with it. The Ticket of VIP lounges are going to priced around 500 USD as far as i know.

The govt washed its hand off because there was disagreement and Vijay Malaya was the one who sorted it out as far i know.
With Force India going gr8 guns with Finishing in All the races except one in Points table it is good.

According to some people when the Track is not being used it will be used for Feeder Series of Formula 1 that is GP2 racing also.

Overall it will be great and 1.2lakh seat capacity will be filled For sure easily.

Edit: Regarding MotoGp tracks being different no they don't need to be different but There are only couple of Races that are held in same Tracks like the Circuit Catalunya(Spain),Indianapolis(Not Anymore used by F1), So F1 Tracks are used but not much they have different tracks for MotoGP but few Tracks are common
        quite right

In India racing is taboo. Fast cars and specially bikes are antisocial elements.

From some of the pics it seems as though the laid track portions are really bumpy/uneven.

The tarmac has not been laid. The final undulations will be decided by that. They will lay the tarmac in 2 weeks.

Thanks a ton for sharing the pics!! Never had visibility into this much progress until you shared the pics.

Honestly, seems like there is still so much work left to be completed at the track. Seems like the race will happen on a semi-ready track.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
