The bike is infamous for it's woody tyres... i am amused to see how "Experts" are ranking the bike so high. Except for looks it has no Ninja charm. It's like stylized ZMR....

R15 owners play with the colours for your bike and see how awsome it looks...it has a very neat flow of lines use it to your advantage...most of the Mods i have seen are very dissapointing. And most important wait for a proper upgrade...Ninja isn't worth it...
Thank you for highlighting that ninja is a beginner's bike, you enlightened us! makes me wonder what category R15 falls into:rolleyes. Wooden tyres sure, looks like you read the article from MCN well, u know the theory man well even a noob can make out that they are speaking relatively. in the indian context they are pretty damn good. And atleast like the r15 the ninja doesn't get unnerved with the slightest hint of crosswinds. M sure you are also aware that the performance oriented r15 is derived from T135 which is a step thru which is used to ferry kids from school and buy fish from the nearest market. Correct me if am wrong. stop being a fanboy, like a bike for its abilities not the brand. just so u know yamaha is known to make much better bikes overall but they aren't half as hardcore bikes as kwackers barring maybe the 98 and 99 r1.

I noe r15 gives a much better bang for the buck vis-a-vis the nijette but doesn't the same equation make the 220 the best bike on the roads. had the r15 not come we still would have been stuck with the wonderful pulsars and apaches which we sooo love, don't we?

i don't mean to have an argument just disgusted by illogical brand loyalty. PEACE

But can someone convey to Yamaha headquarters LOUD AND CLEAR that we want, at least, a 200-225 cc single cylinder short-stroke bike which can easily cross a true 140 kmph easily at 1-1.25 L price point.

Till this is done by Yamaha or by any other manufacturer, you can go and crib and still continue buying your dressed up ZMA, ZMR, FZ-16, P-......, and what not.
WOW!! You almost burnt the circuit of my computer with that HEAT!! Chill Bro!!

Every passionate biker in this country and in this world buys his/her bike with a lot of sentiment behind.... just that you want something particular, you just can't slam other products in the market.... they are all gems in their own right, and it's because of these existing range of products in the market, that the market is atleast started to move in the right direction.....

So, Dude... go out take a fresh chilled breath... and start riding on

Dada, I had so many fotos to upload that it became really difficult to name the members & frankly, I have forgotten the names too of the people with whom I have interacted, Hope, they forgive me but it was just simply awesome to interact with them, truly.

Are these chrome and matt finishes only for the classic 500 or for the 350 as well?
