xBhp Needs You!!

As you all are aware, xBhp has a stall at the upcoming 2010 Auto-Expo at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi to be held between Jan5 and Jan 11, both dates inclusive.

xBhp had participated in the last Auto Expo (2008) and had garnered a good response for its presence. This time things are looking up further for us. Despite the 2008 crash, xBhp has grown and come out stronger. Our quality of contribution towards propagation of safe motorcycling and projecting motorcycling in a positive manner has seen tremendous growth. We want to take this further through this week-long exposition and extend our reach beyond the present boundaries. This is one week of making xbhp's presence felt as much off-line as it is on-line.

Needless to say, its been because of you all, our members, that xBhp is what it is today. An on-line club that has risen from being a mere club to becoming a fraternity and has evolved still further into a brotherhood.

During this one week, xBhp needs you to step beyond your user ID's on the forum and share the physical workload at the Auto-Expo. We need volunteers for stall presence, visitor interaction and the innumerable little activities that go into making for a successful presence at an exposition.
Before the Expo begins, you will be thoroughly briefed about what all is expected of you as a volunteer, by any of the senior members who have been closely involved in the run-up and setting up of the xBhp stall.

Please post your availability on this thread. Date (and if it is not for a full day, then during what time slot shall you be there).

Note 1: Please DO NOT post if you are NOT volunteering. This thread is ONLY for posts from those who are willing to volunteer.

Note 2: By preliminary estimates, we have enough people for the 9th and 10 Jan weekend. 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 11th are what we need people for.

Note 3: You will get a PM from one of the moderators if your availaibility is useful for us and we will invite you for a final briefing.

Come, step forward and give a measure of your time to xBhp.

This is also to let people know that MG would be present on all days. So would Ken. Old Fox would be present on some days.

Mohit schumi_rossi had confirmed for all days. He has not yet got back to me.

Besides them, Shivanshu is taking care of the members coming from outstation. Whoever is coming for the Auto Expo from different parts of the country or the world, please get in touch with Shivanshu.

We would like someone to come forward for the 6th.

Edit: The participants/volunteers would require to present themselves at the stall at 0800 hours and if possible, help us till 2000 hours. They would also require to wear xBhp tees on top of their pullovers. Dress code is casual as you might infer.

I can take off on 6th Jan for the xBhp members coming from other states which I have already confirmed to Moderators, in our previous meet on 20th Dec.

Also since 9th and 10th is second Saturday and Sunday I would be free so would be helping the members from other states for the Mega G2G

I have already confirmed that I am available. Just needed to be informed when my presence is required so that I can tell my manager

I have already communicated at my office that I would be taking a day off during the Auto Expo

I have made a list of the volunteers who have given their names. I will be putting up their names and the respective dates for the Auto Expo shortly.

I just spoke to Born2Lead, he is not on his work station hence could not post but he would like to volunteer for the 5th of January.

I forgot to volunteer in the G2G but can be there for the responsibilty on 5th or 6th, anytime before 6 pm.

I would like to volunteer for the 5th, if you still need guys.

That is what I heard as well. I was hoping they'd be there with bigger capacity bikes...at least in concept.
