Mahindra could do with better designs for their vehicles.. xylo scorpio and these are also quite ugly, imho

however i suppose this is of least concern to the buyers

The Volkswagen Stall

Less than a year ago, new Volkswagen plant was inaugurated in Chakan near Pune in March 2009 for building the Polo. There was already a production and assembly plant in Aurangabad bringing the Jetta and the Passat to the Indians. The total amount of investment for automotive production is in excess of half a billion Euros. This is the largest investment till date by any German company in India. The facility has an annual production capacity of 110, 000 vehicles. And finally the Polo was formally launched at the Auto Expo again, a trend that is being seen by a lot of manufacturers, for producing smaller vehicles for "the people". And amongst all these manufacturers, undoubtedly the Polo impressed me the most.

The version that has been launched in India is the 1.2L petrol with 75PS of power. Two other versions are soon to be made available in diesel and petrol versions. The Diesel version is supposed to sport a 1.2L Common Rail Direct Injection engine also delivering 75PS of power! And the second petrol version is meant for performance enthusiasts with a 1.6L engine under the hood giving out 105PS of power. I think that soon it would be time to test drive one, check out its handling characteristics, Torque delivery, acceleration, road adherence and so on.

The silencer in the first snap and third snap are different. So are we sure that this is the actual racing kit for the RTR 180. Any info when this will be available? Also what about the RTR 200CC bike.

Actually, i visited the expo 6th of January..
The RTR with golden alloys is the one with ABS and it's not a simple ABS device like shown in the Bike mag months ago..It is a very complicated device as far as i can tell..It is controlled by computer with some HECU or something like this technology..It has some Rear lift-off protection and better off-roading and braking abilities.Secondly,there is one additional ABS indicator in the bike along with service indicator et al..I feel it'd definitely cost 3-4 grands to install this function!..
TVS is also showing a video footage in those big LCDs about how this whole thing works!..It is very informative!

About the Pro-kit i asked one of the officials present there at the expo.He said it would boost RTR180's power to 24bhp!..When asked about when it is going to be launched?..He replied,"No official confirmation but it'll be launched very soon"..

i dont think so 250cc will be launched, mostly that new fz8 will be launched i think and also the known M1...

Looking at comments posted like this, I am forced to think why these two guys are deprived of entertainment in their life. Nothing happening on 250cc front. Either it is litre class bikes, else commuters. It was my way of being frivlous.

Nothing exciting but still people want to comment for pages together. And when they run out of ideas pick up on people Go get a life
