  • Guys, I myself regret to inform that I'll have to cancel the visit... Maybe next time.

Main reason being no one ready as pillion. I asked some friends, all refused. Secondary reasons being the fog, the accidents, etc...

Why can't they have the Expo in March End. Or the new financial year...

    • @Samarth: You could have come in a bus to Delhi, if you want to! Anyhow, all I would say is that would have liked to meet you. Probably, some time later.

        SirJi,
I really want to meet some of my old pals. And, I feel this is one good opportunity for a short-ish meet.

May I know, at what time I can expect YOU at our stall tomorrow, so that I try to be there at that time?

        • The BMW Stand at the Auto Expo.

Sweeping awards across the table from Overdrive, NDTV awards, Zigwheels for most categories in the imported CBU car segment and premium luxury car segments, we have a global automobile manufacturer, BMW coming a long way in a short time. Setting up shop in 2006, BMW have their India headquarters and wholly owned subsidiary in Gurgaon. They have acquired the number one position during this short stay surpassing the other premium luxury car vendors in the country.

BMW used the launching pad of the 10th Auto Expo to announce the release of 3 new models in the country...

The new BMW Gran TUrismo priced at 6, 300, 000 INR
The new BMW X6M at 13,000, 000 INR
          The new BMW 760Li 12,900, 000 INR

And the big surprise package was the unveiling of the BMW X1, to be available as CKD, produced at the Chennai plant, deliveries beginning in end 2010.

          The BMW GT

          Beautiful Lines

          The new golden X1

However the star of the show was a car that was launched sometime earlier...

          • @Sachin sir: Please do not come during the weekend at the Expo as it would be really crowded or rather over-crowded. Even today was really pathetic, jostling to view a glimpse of any vehicle is really not fun.

However, it would be great if you could come at the Mega G2G that is to happen at the dhaba tomorrow evening at around 6pm.
            :)

                    • No BMW S1000rr for display?
A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

Ofcourse not, if I could have been able to afford something like the Gran Turismo, I am sure you know what I would have got instead!

@Nicky: BMW is not displaying ANY of it's motorcycle.
@Sachin sir: I did feel lucky for a few minutes.

                              • Here's the plan : I'll park my bike at Karol Bagh and catch the metro for Pragati Maidan. I'll carry an extra lid with me, so whoever wants to ride as pillion with me after the expo will just have to come to Karol Bagh in metro and then we'll ride to the dhaba... simple, isn't it?

EDIT: I have the business visitors pass with me, at what time will I be allowed to enter the expo?
