its a 49 Tone ~380HP truck.Tata motors have been working on this truck for more than two years now, also think it has a vehicle tracking (GPS for fleet management) system.Originally posted by ken cool View PostI totally agree with you. I was stunned at the finish, the detailing... everything... including the 350 odd Bhp, matching up to the Volvos and Mercedes and Ivecos of the genre! The trailer had the regular number of axles. Regular payload of 40 tons I assume.

Thnaks Ken for the crisp pre-view. Yes, the TATA's are impressive this time. I believe quite a few major players will also have hybrids on display.
Amongst the glitterati of the automotive world, xBhp holds its own. The stall at the Expo as it was last night. A few finishing touches were left for today morning.

Come, step forward and give a measure of your time to xBhp.
Edit by Ken:
Currently we have prepared a list of volunteers.
This is the list of the participants for the Auto Expo.
5th Jan, Tuesday: Dcs
6th Jan, Wednesday:
7th Jan, Thursday: Mandhir, Rahul Gawri
8th Jan, Friday: Dipankar, Mandhir
9th Jan, Sat:
10th Jan, Sun:
11th Jan, Monday: Rahul
Edit: The participants/volunteers would require to present themselves at the stall at 0800 hours and if possible, help us till 2000 hours. They would also require to wear xBhp tees on top of their pullovers. Dress code is casual as you might infer.
Now that's what we call wonderful!!
Its 1049 hrs by my watch. The day is 5th January.
The list finalized by Ken said that I was volunteering for the 5th. accordingly, I had applied for the day's leave from the office too.
Not until the evening of 2nd January was I informed about whether I have to come or not, and in case if I am coming then what time and things alike.
I would sincerely like to thank Old Fox who despite all the adversities did me honors by sending me some information about the xbhp stall and a few quick information at a glance about Xbhp.
I further spoke to Ken on the evening of 2nd January but wasnt given any good information.
Last evening at around 8 or 10 in the evening I spoke to Ken on Gtalk who informed me that my phone was Perpetually Switched off. Now i am not so sure what does Perpetually Switched off means in Dictionary Sense.
And am unable to understand now as why did we have a G2G few weeks back to ask for Volunteers when it was not required at all. If things can be managed, the way they are being done now, then why the gimmick of holding a G2G in the name of Volunteering and then scrapping off the names without the basic courtesy of informing the concerned people.
yes, dcs is not the one and only in xBhp and out of a count of more than 14000 members, a single identity perhaps does not hold any much of an importance to anyone.
And if for any chance any of us thinks that we are Volunteering for the purpose of getting in the fair groungs, then I hope a lot of us know it well enough that passes and tickets are never an issue for a lot of us.
The point to convey here is...
if we ask for Volunteers for any occassion and if for any reason we are not able to provide the resources or if we do not REQUIRE that persons' assistance, then the same person shud be informed accordingly. Also, lets not forget that the one basic difference between a Moderator and a member is that a Moderator is supposed to be a guiding force and not something that would dwindle about for any reason.
What Ken did was highly unethenic and utmost uncalled for.
P.S: As they say... Do not wait to repent in the 11th hour, you may die at 10:30Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!
