Most of the videocon phones are cheap china ones that they are selling for 18K, 20K whereas actual price will not even be 3K.

I've ordered this mobile last week with full payment online. But I've not received any communication on my mail-id for the same. Also, there is no way I can trace my shipment from the site on xBHP. How long it takes to receive the mobile set? Is there any contact info where I can call up and ask for the details of shipment? I called up Videocon's CC but they had no clue about online purchase of this mobile.

Hi guyz,I have bought this phone last month.Whenever I open map,it is asking for serial number.Any idea why this is happening?I tried to put some numbers but it is saying authorization failed!But however it opened the map,but even after GPS got sync it showing incorrect location.Please help on this if anyone got the solution for this..

The concerns that you are facing seem to have occurred due to deletion of the Authorization Certificate file from your Videocon Mobile Phone V6200.

To address this and for the application to work properly, the Certificate requires to be copied again into the phone at the following path :
Menu-> File Manager -> Memory Card-> SUNAVIMAPDATA-> MAPS-> CERTIFICATE FOLDER

May we request you to provide the IMEI number of your V6200 so that we can share the necessary file with you.

I didn't see a separate thread for V6200 buyers but I wanted to ask if anyone has received this phone after ordering from this site and if so how much time does it take.
I ordered on 20th December and there's been no communication since the payment communication. Emailing the seller (the email provided along with the payment confirmation) has elicited no response.

I've placed to order on Jan 8th.
There is absolutely no response for the folks who are supposed to ship.
However [email protected] is on the case and should be sorted out.

I spoke to him today.

Please do not buy it through this site.
The only reply I've got reply is from [email protected] requesting me to wait 2 more days.
Its been 4 days since I placed the order and I'm still waiting to hear if and when I'll get the phone.

That too after paying 9k they will ship using crappy DTDC.

Flipkart offers a better deal.

I did't come across that.

What I did read is " The product wil be delivered within 12 working days"


My point is very simple.
I placed the order through xbhp since I'm an member and knew about this offer from a system generated email.

Even if it says it will take 5 or 10 days nothing is stopping anyone from sending it sooner. All I'm expecting is proper communication on the status of the order.

I have not heard anything from the "ideasnsolutions.com" folks
I mailed them no reply.
I called them up and they transfered my call to xbhp
It might be fine for you, but not for me.

Even himanshu from xbhp said they (ideasnsolutions.com) are not replying to anyone and this has been escalated.
So please understand this is not an isolated issue.
The delay is there for "anyone" who have placed the order and probably will happen for anyone who places the order.

My openion still remains any prospective buyer will get a better deal (8.5k as opposed to 9k) and faster shipping (12days as opposed to 3day) from flipkart.
That is a fact, so I stated it.

If not me I'll save some poor chaps a lot of hassle.

Ignoring emails and not communicating is not the right way for any kinda business. I hope someone will realize that.

I certainly hope xbhp will make sure this IST kinda people are not selected next time.

Today is the 10th day.
The thing has been shipped on Jan 13th.

DTDC courier is a joke gone bad.
Despite my request they still used DTDC to ship the phone.

It will get here when it gets here.
All the enthusiasm of buying the "new" toy has long gone.
I've been following up with the courier folks, nothing is happening.
xbhp chaps I guess are not.

Don't get me wrong folks might be doing a great job co-ordinating and shipping this as fast as they can. The sad fact is there are better deals and service out there.

From what I experienced so far It was a mistake to buy this from here.
