Nice mobile. 12k is too much, i would prefer android 2.2 on the lg optimus one ,which also costs same. Not so mighty specs for a ducatti branded phone. Looks nice though.

Is there any other phone with altimeter/barometer/thermometer available in India right now?

PS: This is a serious question.I am still living with a seven year old phone.I am not at all a gadget guy but the features on this phone have me intrigued.

      Sorry for the OT.

          Let me explain:

          Altimeter-To know the altitude.
          Barometer-To know atmospheric pressure.
          Thermometer-To know the temperature.

dude ,for someone who tours & travels these are important features .

as i mentioned earlier the pathfinder retails at around 8-9 k & people buy it only for these features.

Add to that other extra stuff & you have a VFM product

The branding is ofcourse a bonus

Why only for Everest? These feature would be handy if one is moto-touring,hiking or simply travelling.
Of course these features are not indispensable but they would make travelling more fun.
And we could post pictures showing how high we climbed,or how cold it was that day in Leh.

^^^^^ forget about multitasking buddy, its just another usual phone with a lot of (unnecessary(?) sensors and a ducati badging(!). But it will make a great back up phone.
Go for a proper smart phone if you want (android, symbian etc) to multitask plus bigger screens gud for emails &web

Not because I am promoting their phone, but iPhone didnt have multitasking until recent past. Also there is no where written an Andrioid phone will be a smart one. The overall implementation matters.

The sensors might seem unnecessary until you actually head out on that camping trip on the bike. And yes, the pre loaded full India maps from Map My India mean its as good as a dedicated GPS.

I will try and upload a video showcasing the phone soon here.

the "unneccessary" sensors are so real time & freaking perfect that it astounds to say the least

for Rs.8900 promotional offer ,its a steal
