Apologies for posting it here so late. Actually it took time to overcome the warm welcome and enthusiasm shown by bikers from Trivandrum today. We rode from Thekkady to Trivandrum (260kms).
It was great to meet few bikers who had come from Kochi and joined us some 100kms before Trivandrum. Special thanks to Vineet who covered almost 400kms just to meet us. Then we were received by xBhpians Trivandrum at the entry of city and escorted to hotel.
The evening Fix & Flick session too went interestingly well. It was a collective participation from all members present and going by the reaction I can say it was enjoyed by everyone. The highlight of the day was screening of 'Bandit to Khardungla' documentary.
The meet ended on a promising note of an exciting ride tomorrow to Neyyar Dam.sigpic

My One Day with the GIR ? Abhineshwaran S.
Text: Abhineshwaran S. Abhineshwaran from Bangalore was one of the lucky winners of the CEAT Ride with the GIR Team contest. He got to ride with the GIR team on the GIR CBR250. In the following text, he is sharing his experience about riding with the GIR Team. Thats Abhinesh on the right. My Phone was buzzing. I lazily picked it up and on the line was SunilG from xBhp. The second he introduced himself I got the instinct that I have won the CEAT competition and I was right! He asked me whether I could join the xBhp on a ride to DD hills. I was overboard with adrenaline pumping through my head. It was around 9.30 p.m. and me being a graveyard shift worker, my day had just started so I decided to stay awake the whole night, in case I over sleep and miss the ride. GIR is at a stage now where the only option to move ahead is to return. Yes!! we have reached Kanyakumari. Many thanks to Trivandrum bikers who made it a memorable ride from Trivandrum to Kanyakumari which otherwise is generally very boring.
The meet at Neyyar dam too went good, infact great. Thereafter, we rode to the tip of INDIA with around 7 bikers joining us. The evening was spent at Sunset point after which the guys returned to Trivandrum. It was meeting all you guys and ride safe!!
We have extended our stay at Kanyakumari by one day and next destination is Chennai.sigpic
