The GIR team is on the way to Hyderabad from Vijayawada. They are around Nalgonda now. They would most probably reaching Hyderabad around 2 p.m. A team of xBhp Hyderabad would meet them at outskirts of Hyderabad and welcome the team and escort them to the Hotel.

Had a wonderful meeting with the GIR team. We had a nice interaction with the lovely people. We are going to ride with them for a short while tomorrow morning to Gandipet.

The GIR team had one of the most memorable arrival in Hyderabad, thanks to xBhpians who had gone beyond their comforts to make it a special evening for all. Starting with escorting to hotel, to getting received personally by Kaleem Sir at the hotel, an evening interaction and dinner, memorabilia to top it all. All the agonies of having taken a longer & worse route had vanished in jiffy.

I thank everyone for the stupendous gesture of brotherhood, solidarity & support for the team. Not only was it tough to sink in the feeling.... it has become harder for me to pen this in the daily blog. So please excuse me if you see the day's blog getting updated late on the website.

With all your wishes with us we leave this beautiful city tomorrow to continue the journey.

Day 30: April 9, 2012 ? Chennai to Vijayawada

Text: Abhishek Bhatt Photos: Sundeep Gajjar/motoGrapher.com & Sunil Gupta Our last day in Chennai got a befitting response from bikers who joined us for the ride to Mamallapuram. The last day also reminded us to tighten our seat belts for a long ride to Vijayawada the next day, abstaining from the comforts and luxuries of our hotel that we have so gotten used to in last four days. We decided to start early to cover first few miles in the cool before the Golden Ball starts emanating heat through all cylinders and we mortals would be forced to stop umpteen times for upping our fluid intake. Getting out of Chennai city was a breeze, thanks to the excellent NOKIA DRIVE on our LUMIA800 which has proved handy to us time and again. This has really helped us in our trip for finding any location in various cities. Our lives have been much easier without having to ask for directions from people.
