So we have started on the proverbial other side of arc that we plan to cover on GIR. Kanyakumari was a defining stopover for the fact that the only option to go further in INDIA was to ride backwards. This set an interesting precedent as two days in southern most town of INDIA passed in web of emotions which included excitement, happiness, sentiments and achievement !!
Having finished half of the trip adds meaning to full objective. We have been welcomed by bikers across every city with open arms, unabated enthusiasm. I thank all the people we met enroute for their support, solidarity, love & blessings. It has been more than just a ride and has exceeded my expectations in terms of every quantafiable standard.
Moreover, I take pride in having witnessed our nation's beautiful landscapes on the best mode of travelling. Whether it was coastline of Goa, tea gardens of Valparai, forest route in Karnataka or wide open tarmac in Rajasthan.... every mile I have covered has been nothing less than revelation for me. And it adds pleasure to note that there is still more to explore, more people to meet and more dots to be connected.
With this I sign out for now with a promise to return with much more to be shared.sigpic
