          Day nbefore yesterday I was wandering around the village of castelluccio till late 1 am in the night taking photos of deserted alleyways and houses perfectly lit as if it was all set up for me! I have never been to such a place before, it was hauntingly creepy yet stunningly charming at the same time!

                      A shot from the GroPro HD hero cam mounted on the streetfighter, the images are a little smeared (as if from a nice mobile camera shot at 2592 x 1944 native res), but great for small prints and of course the web, the bloody camera can be mounted anywhere!

                        We are now leaving for a town alled Matera. It is supposed to be one of the oldest towns in the world where until very recently (1980s) people still used to live in caves! Unbelievable! The Sassa (main center) sometimes has streets built over rooftops of houses!

                            I am spellbound by the beauty of Italy! It's just amazing! If I ever make enough money, I would surely hit the heart of Europe.

                            @Sunny.. Bro, you are fantastic! The serene locales get the justice only through your photographs. My favourite is clearly the one with lots of hair raising hair-pins!!

                            @Anurag sir... Once again a superb log there! You with your words and Sunny with his weapon make a great combination!
                            If you can recall, you made a statement about the villages in Europe. Same thought passed through my mind the moment I read your trip log of Day 1. They, for no reason can be called 'Villages'!!

                              Stelvio pass

                              I remember watching Top gear few seasons back episode where they take a lambo,Porsche and a Aston in the Stelvio pass in their quest to find the best driving road ....The soundtrack was amazing to hear.....Sunny bhai-does the ducatis have similar soundtrack to play while riding along the stelvio pass ???

                              A video if captured can be uploaded ...would really add that magic ingredient ....or say a video on the curves by the GoPRO HD cam ...How well does it cancel the wind noise ????
