I don't know if it happens with anybody else, but it happens with me all the time.... for most of the most momentous occasions of my life, I always fall short of words.... be it proposing to lady love, my first job interview, my first training speech... or writing about the Great Italian road trip.

Finally submitted my entry and invited some sleepless nights (anyways I'm not able to sleep in this humid heat )

My heart is already skipping some
beats. Getting a chance to sit on the Ducati
StreetFighter "in Italy" and representing our very
own xBhp team would be the coolest thing on
Earth. And lets not forget the brand new
Videocon cell phone to capture some yummy Pasta &
Red Hot Ducati Pixels.. This would be a once in

me. And i am a Biker.. a die hard Ducati fan..
its my passion.. its my religion, and i would call

Videocon. Now let me see what this bike is
really all about! Does she really look as sexy and
as menacing as in the pictures? Does she make me
feel overwhelmed with emotions or was it all just
hyped up? And how does she sound? As sweet as only
a Ducati can sound, or is it even better? Does she
purr with satisfaction or does she roar and beg
for my attention? Maybe she will exhibit a split
personality. Next will be the time to feel her.
Will we gel with each other as if we were just
meant to be together? Will she have a cute, docile
persona behind those hot looks, or will she be
every bit as fiery and passionate as her looks
suggest? Will I just rev her away to glory or will
I enjoy her poise and balance on the straights or
is it the twisties that will turn her on! Oh, and
what is a bike without her own endearing quirks?
Will she share her secrets early on, or will she
make me play the game? What ever may be the case,

first thing i ought to do today is bring out my
riding gear and full charge my sexy Videocon
phone! This baby is going to show me Italy like
its never been seen! Ooh! And note to self - DO
NOT forget to stop at the first gelato parlour to
fill up the tank (tummy). I hope we ride to the
old parts of the town that aren’t on every
tourist’s to-do list. I’d love to ride on the
old cobbled streets and pay a visit to a local
pizzeria...maybe even talk to and share notes with
some local bikers. Oh! And how fabulous would it
be to circle The Colosseum on the colossal
Streetfighter!! Two forces to be reckoned with,
and i get to experience them together!!
YUMMM And then, i hope we spaghetti our way to
clear roads where we can accelerate to maximum
speeds and feel the roads burns beneath us!! Im
SO going to rock this one outta the galaxy! better
drink up on loads of red bull cuz i aint gonna
waste my time in Italy sleepin, baby!!

Mind, has gone mad with that excessive adrenaline
flowing through my veins, making me euphoric.
Heart beating like as I have just knocked out a
heavyweight boxer in the very first round. No more
to hear. No one to look at. That�s what I would be

�The Ducati StreetFighter.� Feeling happy like a
kid, who just got the desired present before
birthday or like a teenage boy who just got a kiss

messenger. As soon as I am done with it, would get
a call from my girlfriend & she was not at all
happy about what I have just written about my trip
with Team Xbhp, and I guess no girl would be after
what I have written about The StreetFighter.
�The Ducati StreetFighter� made me did what I
have only done to girlfriend & I would be knowing
it that its going to take long to convince her
that its not the toned face of some Italian beauty
which I kissed, it was the headlight of the
StreetFighter. The feeling underneath my statement
�legs around the toned belly� was for the fuel
tank & the seat of The Street Fighter. The sweet
humming voice which made me forget everything, was
not of lady but coming from the StreetFighter�s
exhaust. After hour long talks on my new Videocon
cell phone with her she got convinced about it
that my feelings was for the StreetFighter.
The True Italian Beauty, with a power of
beast....The Ducati StreetFighter...

will be getting this excellent opportunity to do
something great, live the moment and not think
anything… if at all I get any thoughts in my
middle class mentality I rather do not dare to
implement does because I fear that I will walk up
to a random person and ask him what mileage does
this Ducati gives? To be precise, “Mileage on
road and not on paper.” I will grab this
opportunity with both my hands, look around, burn
some rubber, and see how the beauty is crafted in

be in bliss. One look at the bike dashboard and

understand the way of life and like a true biker,

be fast and controlled, palms and legs feeling

travel all the way across the ocean of sand, find
the Alchemist and be ultimately led to his
treasure, here I am after crossing the oceans, now
in the company of my biker brethren. It is an
emotional overload, the burning desire to burn
rubber, making the anxiety and excitement
receptors in my brain tingle with every passing
second. After years of watching the big bikes
play, now it is my turn to ride one. That too
nothing but the holy grail of exotic superbikes in
the world! The Ducati Streetfighter, a mean
machine laden with power and commanding respect.
The beautiful steed taunts me, “Will you be able

For me it would BLISS re-defined. Riding through
the scenic beauty of Italy with a 1099cc monster
cranking out 155 bhp under my saddle and still
remaining connected with the Videocon mobile, to
share my ecstasy with the world as I ride through
oceans of it, is nothing less than pure heaven.
For me it would be a ride of senses, sensibility
and responsibility as I would not only be
representing the XBhp and it’s motto towards
motorcycle riding, but above all I would be
representing the Indian Biking community on an
international platform staged by XBhp. The
Ducati Street Fighter is the perfect machine one
can think of for this esteem ride. With the L-Twin
Desmodromic engine cranking out 155 bhp of peak
power and 115 Nm of peak torque means that it
packs oodles of zest and spirit. But this is not
where this bike is a perfect fit for this trip. In
my opinion, the Ducati Street Fighter is a perfect
fit for the Great Italian Road trip is because of
