The Great Italian Roadtrip : Updates and Contest

The Great Italian Roadtrip will start on Monday 28th June 2010 from Bologna, Italy and finish on 20th July 2010.

Me and Anurag Ashok will be riding the Monster 1100 and Streetfighter respectively for 7000 kms around Italy.

We will be choosing one winner from India to be with us for 4 days in Italy as well!

Some dates: 19th July to 21st July 2010 the winner will be with us in Italy. The winner will also get a Ducati factory tour and a cool Videocon Mobile phone!

This thread will be used to update small and big stuff (besides the blogs!)

Just found out that the sun will set in Venice, Italy at 9 PM and it rises at 5.20 PM. thats 15+ hours of day light! Wohoo!

galore and turned into the most beautiful month of
my life Beautiful Girls , a Beautiful Bike and
one great journey ! What you need to know

happened, it has all worked together to bring you
to this very moment. And this is the moment you
can choose to make everything new. Right now…
and a river runs through it. Taking in the
scenes, many a mental photographs, many a stories

other. As I start this monster of a bike i

the wonderful Bologana the city of Piazza
Maggiore, supercars and superbikes. Visiting the
duccati factory !!! seeing the beast 155bhp,
87.5lb/ft 1099cc v-twin engine being developing
out of the core metal the best example of extreme
engineering. Of course the experience with team
xBhp would be awesome. What could i say about
videocon the masters in their field have good
technology for developing fantastic products....

will pinch hard myself. I will bow down and pay my
gratitude towards – the land of brave Romans,
the land of revolutionist Benito Mussolini, the
land of four World Cup winners in soccer. I

Man! having this Streetfighter under me is what
sultry fantasies are made of! Cant believe im
going to ride the dreamy streets of epic Italy on
the meanest, most sexy bike ever made by mankind,
holding the snazziest phone in my hand!! Ducati
Bike + Italy + Videocon Phone = Earthshaking +
Brain Numbing + Toe Curling experience! And the
proverbial cherry on cake is that i will ride with
the hottest bikers EVAAAH - The xBHP team!! The
first thing i ought to do today is bring out my
riding gear and full charge my sexy Videocon
phone! This baby is going to show me Italy like
its never been seen! Ooh! And note to self - DO
NOT forget to stop at the first gelato parlour to
fill up the tank (tummy). I hope we ride to the
old parts of the town that aren’t on every
tourist’s to-do list. I’d love to ride on the
old cobbled streets and pay a visit to a local

Mind, has gone mad with that excessive adrenaline
flowing through my veins, making me euphoric.
Heart beating like as I have just knocked out a
heavyweight boxer in the very first round. No more
to hear. No one to look at. That�s what I would be

�The Ducati StreetFighter.� Feeling happy like a
kid, who just got the desired present before

which I kissed, it was the headlight of the

�legs around the toned belly� was for the fuel
tank & the seat of The Street Fighter. The sweet
humming voice which made me forget everything, was
not of lady but coming from the StreetFighter�s
exhaust. After hour long talks on my new Videocon
cell phone with her she got convinced about it
that my feelings was for the StreetFighter.

certainly you will agree with me! Considering my
typical Indian mentality there will be absolutely
no thought in my mind, at least noting more than

grab my Videocon cool phone; do whatever it takes
to switch on its sexy camera, and click lots and
lots and lots of pictures to flaunt it on my
social networks and if you ask what would I click
1st? My date! Miss. Ducati would be it. Click
upload, click upload, click upload. For once I
will be getting this excellent opportunity to do
something great, live the moment and not think
anything… if at all I get any thoughts in my
middle class mentality I rather do not dare to
implement does because I fear that I will walk up
to a random person and ask him what mileage does
this Ducati gives? To be precise, “Mileage on
road and not on paper.” I will grab this
opportunity with both my hands, look around, burn
