Hi guys.. Kinda tried a DIY for the internal visor today. Don't know how long it's gonna hold on.

I Removed the plastic piece which you adjust to bring the visor down and Put down a double side tape with one side not peeled off. As of now it's good. But need something solid to control the wear off soon. Will come up with an alternative soon enough and keep you updated.

I got the same MT Blade helmet but with the Fluorescent Yellow color a fortnight back and I am absolutely loving it, though I bought it from a shop here who is a primary dealer, so no problem with packing or shipping. It fits perfectly and also instead of the plain visor, I got it changed to the smoked visor, which surprisingly is very much visible enough at night too.

I am actually debating getting a pinlock insert and either the iridium or smoked visor.

did you try the iridium silver visor for night visibility?

There was only the smoked visor available and I was more than happy with that itself, besides it matches perfectly with the white and fluorescent coloring of the outer shell.

Perhaps I am not getting you guys. I thought that smoked visors were used during sunny riding conditions to avoid having to squint against the sun while riding. Since the MT Blade comes with an internal Sun visor I thought I would use that and then get a clear anti fog insert since even with the Breath guard sometimes the visor does fog up for me.

Well, yes the MT Blade comes with an internal sun visor, but of late the internal sun visor comes loose after a period of certain use and hence I thought I would never use that, but instead go with a smoked visor completely itself, and the one for the Blade series, the smoked visor is very good, as it not only helps during sunny daylight conditions, but also during nighttime its very much visible and it hardly makes a difference, but since all Blade helmets come with an internal sun visor, can't help it, but since I wanted an MT brand, but the Axxis wasn't much of a like to me, I settled with the Blade, which by the way is a proper value for money helmet.

Looking for suggestions, which helmet is better? SOL SF-2M or MT blade?

I use the iridium visor regularly, but it cannot be used at night at all, have to keep the visor open when using it at night

Why not try the smoked visor, I am using one, and its very much usable in the night, as I travel regularly during the night from my office and can easily vouch on its visibility without a doubt.

Yeah, but there are 3 reasons :
                          1. IMO, iridium visor looks much cooler
                          2. I have a R15,, and lighting absolutely sucks on that bike
                          3. My ride is on a completely unlit statehighway, so pairing that with weak bulbs of R15, i can only see clearly upto 50mts

I can feel your pain, bro! So many sports bikes and Harley Davidson bikes in Ahmedabad, but unfortunately no good helmet availability.

I am also planning to order a MT helmet online, after gaining confidence from your post. Thank you for that

                                Hey,
How was the helmet from inside? Did you notice any damage? The box the helmet doesn't have any protection inside, just a dust cover for the helmet, as far as I'm aware. If the box is damaged the helmet might be too? Would just like that quick clarification

My friend used first flight once, and had a bad experience. I'm concerned to see that SpartanProGear uses that courier service, but my order has already been placed, so fingers crossed.

                                Thanks!
