                  Its still a couple of months away, its needs a few parts and a lot of work before she is truly road worthy, plus the seller may change his mind when its all done up so we will see But being 6'2" there are only few bikes left that dont look like toys in my hands, so it is either this or hunt for an old Busa, 2001 or previous, the unrestricted badasses

                    A few more pics from a few weeks back, before anyone says anything bout the absence of my helmet, this shoot happened in an empty parking lot, and I always,...let me repeat that again, always advice the use of helmet when riding

                    The second last pic is of me riding my friend's BUSA....Oh! I forgot to mention my new race suit, SIDI boots, and LS2 helmet I have acquired, in addition to the riding gear i already have. My fav pic is the second one, I mean riding an R1 always puts a smile on my face. All pics including the previous good ones, are all courtesy of my friend/ fellow supersonic rider (last pic)

                        Well here is the video of this week's ride, thought you guys would appreciate the RSV4 factory more than the pics of my bike which overflood this thread

                        Also keeping company were 2 blades and a Harley. The poor RSV4 has been stuck in a garage for 3 months due to Aprilia's poor service so it was good to see it back in action after a long time.

                        My fav part of the video is somewhere around the 21-24 minute mark when a Merc decides to give me way only to find out that I would play chicken with a cow....Narrow miss there

                              Hi, I have heard that little older R1 s have lot of mechanical issues.. it seems every now and then something or the other goes bad.. now I asked this question to one of the superbike mechanic in Bangalore that if I have to go for a used superbike, which one would be better. He advised me not to go for R1 as he recieves lot of complaints from R1 owners every now and then. He suggested me to go for Honda Fireblade instead as it does not give snu mechanical trouble even if its little older bike. Now I would like to know from R1 owners about its maintenence issues if any, or if this bike becomes little old does it give any mechanical problems. An honest review would be very helpful to me, as this ll help me in planning which bike I should invest in if I have to pick up a used one. I personally like R1 the most.

                                Your mechanic is absolutely right R1's are always high maintenance bikes, most of the older ones are in worse shape as well. In all of Delhi i only know of 3 which are worth buying and one of them is mine, and even mine has been through a crash and rebuilt completely to new (you can refer to previous post). And its already time for me to spend close to a lakh again in getting the head opened since it has crossed nearly 20,000 kms

                                So I will give you the same advice I gave one of my friends and fellow riders when he was looking for a bike (By the way he loves R1s too) buy a Honda and live peacefully. He is now the proud owner of a 2006 Honda SBK which is an amazing ride
