Get well soon bro. Same to the motorcycle. True, its painful to look at this condition of the motorcycle. A suggestion from a budding medico- get yourself checked for fractures. A hairline can prove nasty if left unattended

It really breaks heart to see your bike in such a state.I been following your thread from the day you started to think about getting ONE and finally got it.
All machines can be fixed.I know that you will do so and keep on rocking the roads."Vibes transmitted from crank shaft to frame, then through the bearings of the head stock and into the stem where it meets the triple clamp and into the clip-ons where it is greeted with great pleasure by my hands"-ratfighter mod rtr

Hey
Sad to see your bike in this condition, I would suggest not to rev your bike to seek attention or ride it low gear to get loud sound, it is already a attention grabber. In India, people get attracted to the sound, most probably the guy in the SUV was trying to get close to you to get a better look and wasn't able to brake in time. Am saying this out of experience as i myself have a v.loud bike.
Hope you get your bike fixed soonFour wheels move the body. Two wheels move the soul.

Re: My pre-worshipped goddess - Yamaha R1
Thanks everyone for the wishes and the concern. While the bike is trashed and undergoing ECU treatment at KRP, I survived with minimal damage all thanks to the fact that I was wearing full safety gear and so had no issues at the end.
So on the lighter side, I walk in to get an MRI, since i did blackout and lose all vision for sometime. The doc looks at my MRI result and goes "You have a mild concussion but we want you to come back in 72 hours to ensure there is no lasting brain damage or memory loss" and instinctively the next words that came out of my mouth were, "Doctor mein kahan hoon, mere biwi or bacchein kahan hain". Apparently my doctor and I dont share the same sense of humour :P

Re: My pre-worshipped goddess - Yamaha R1
That's a hell lot of damages,Sandman_sd. Is it possible to replace the front headlight assembly and fairing with the 2010 version? KRP can make some jugaad/mods so that it fits..u can check out Yamaha R1 Forum. If possible get the tank and full bike a new paintjob. Hope to see the Goddess back soon.

Got rear ended by a SUV driver while I was slowing down to take a U-turn and agree that it is heartbreaking to encounterOriginally posted by rutvij_3400 View PostDamn! Can you let us know what went wrong ?? How did the crash happen ? Heart breaking to encounter it ....
I know most of the cosmetic parts have suffered major damage, but it is the impact to the structural damage that took place after the slider bent which is gonna be even more painfulOriginally posted by yogisays09 View PostDamn! that's a huge impact bro! Hope KRP will bring it back into life soon. Most of the broken chit bits seem to be not repairable.Behind every great rider is an even better pit crew. Re: My pre-worshipped goddess - Yamaha R1
Are your going with Used parts available abroad or brand new OEM stuff? Oem Stuff will be very expensive and the holy shipping cost to India is bloody bomb.
Try your search on Ebay.com and Ebay.co.uk and if you have contacts abroad ask them to carry it to India for you. The difference in expenses will be huge.
