On another note I am getting the 3M next week..seems the sides are easily scratched as even the knee guards touch them.

Sird - Thanks a lot buddy. Regarding key chain, I bought it from Sunshine Helmet Store, Thane. I think it should be available in AH Helmet store as well. In fact, it should be available in any normal helmet shop. They usually stock key chains and other accessories.

Vectorz - Even I would get the 3M done. Probably once I m back from Rajasthan trip. Thankfully, I m using riding pant so the chances of scratches are minimal.

The first CBZ model is still my favorite and I love it. Especially the tail light. During my childhood days we used to drool over every CBZ passing us.

R&G Frame sliders Installation & First Service pics:

Thanks to a very wonderful N650 Owners group on Facebook, I found out that there is chap from Bajaj PBK who did R&G frame slider installation for one of the '12 N650. Since the owner was satisfied with the work and cost, even I decided not to experiment with anyone else.

The mechanic came at my residence last Saturday and did a fantastic job in terms of fitting the R&G No cut Frame sliders. He charged us (Me and another N650 owner) Rs.200 for the complete installation. That was a great bargain I say as I have read other N650 owners paying close to Rs.800 for the same.

For installing R&G No cut Frame sliders mechanic removed the fairing completely and for '12 N650 & there are 2 switches for indicators each side which one needs to remove carefully. After completely removing the fairing, 2 huge size bolts are removed from the engine and frame sliders are fitted into it. If not an expert I would advise not to try on your own as the bolts needs to be tightened properly.

Even naked N650 looks darn sexy :P
