True!. When I rode with the pillion, the chain slack was set for a single rider, me and the pillion are heavy 90+. The damage is already done, I have to live with it.

Thanks.

I'm given to understand that some cars use different bulbs for low and high beams, for example, the Fiat Linea uses H7 for low beam and H1 for high beam.

Could you please check if the OEM bulbs you replaced are identical? You may end up getting a little more out of that low beam if a H7 is more suitable than a H1.

I did some trawling and found that a H1 puts out 1550 lumens while a H7 puts out 1450. Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply.

Cheers!

Edit: Corrected my post, had the types switched.

Added a dark smoke Puig touring screen on my N650. Looks great and no rattling or vibrations experienced so far. Did a 2000 kms ride with the new screen and I have no complaints. It's not a necesaary add on but tad better than stock screen in terms of looks and wind protection

One fall and you're selling the bike! Try plastic welding from inside and from outer side some stickering to hide just as in above pic. You can claim insurance also right if you're absolutely sure of changing it.

did you mean araldite? i had a similar crack after hitting a cow more than an year ago araldite had fixed it without issues. you can keep the ordered fairing and use it if needed or when you want to sell it for good .

did you have frame sliders installed? having good frame sliders should have prevented this crack. available in market for less than 10K. they will also prevent expensive damage in case of fall on road. without them, repairs bills can be almost half the cost of bike.

Looks neat and taller than the stock. Does it protect you completely from the wind blast or it still hits you on the helmet?

R&G and Puig are the most preferred brands for N650 frame sliders. PRS stocks R&G.

No windshield can provide complete wind protection unless it is taller than me
As of now the windblast still hits my neck and helmet however it is at the lowest setting. I ll go to the top setting now and see if it is any different.

Gentlemen - Did a couple of long rides in last 4 weeks so I am due to upload a lot of pictures & ride report. One time parts like chain sprockets, brake pads & 5th service will be added in upcoming weeks post which I can share some stats for everyone on ownership expense on N650.

Lakshmi Narasimha Temple - This is the largest statue in Hampi. Narasimha is sitting on the coil of a giant seven-headed snake called Sesha. The heads of the snake acts as the hood above his head. The god sits in a cross-legged Yoga position with a belt supporting the knees.

Badavilinga Temple - This is the largest monolithic Linga in Hampi. Located next to the Narasimha statue the Linga is housed inside a chamber with an opening in the front.A close look on this icon can reveal three eyes (depicting the three eyes of Siva) carved on it. Legend has it that this was commissioned by a peasant woman and hence the name (Badva means poor in local tongue).

Sachinnair wonderful pics and ride report. Btw the FE in the display is instantaneous value not the average. Plz correct me if I'm wrong. For duke it's like that.

There are two different modes to check fuel efficiency in N650. One mode is RTMI (Real Time Mileage Indicator) which shows efficiency based on your current riding and keeps changing every 10 seconds. Other mode is Average KMPL which can be reset to zero before you start your trip. The picture shows average kmpl. I had reset Avergae KMPL to zero before starting the trip and after the trip I checked it to find my overall FE. 28.6 kmpl is something I never expected I can get out of N650 especially the way I ride
