Re: Unassailable Psyche: Suzuki GSX-R 1000 L1
Got the tank mount for Gixxer, now any camera (with the universal screw-in point) can be plonked in, captured 19+ videos and few auto shots, for high speed ride only the right camera is required (SJ5000, Hero 3 etc) else it comes out blurred
Also had a fine twisty road ride 2 weeks back, awaiting to get back on riding once back to India

Re: Unassailable Psyche: Suzuki GSX-R 1000 L1
Well, an update to intimate that I no longer hold my GSXR 1000, it was close to a one year short lived affair with the Gixxer and I take forward the wonderful memories. Sole reason to let go : Moving out of India for good now.
The journey with Gixxer ends but a new journey with zx10r or R1 will come in shortly once I relocate and obtain the lawful license to ride.
Couple of pics from my last ride..
The MOD can hence close this thread.

The day I bid bye to the steed; for number of days was pretty lost, the zeal often rejuvenates with the fact that pretty soon will be acquiring another monster.Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostIt will be missed.
Awaiting for the time when I plonk on the saddle and experience new country roads.
It has been sold, as I indirectly conveyed in my earlier post: 'I no longer hold my GSXR 1000'

OMG amazing stuff :O missed this thread this long. I happened to see a GSXR 1000 in my city and came here searching for similar ownerships. Found it late. Your experiences with the bike are awesome!
I have very limited access and knowledge about superbikes. But from people who constantly put this bike with the other latest ones in comparisons, I can figure out that there is a strong position for this bike, forever! Well, they choose it too over other superbikes. And this is the first superbike I liked because of repeatedly finding it being praised for what it is and of course, as a viewer(at present :P), for it's looks! It's so Japanese, especially the front! I heard from one of it's owners who had ordered this, that, it has roughly 158-160 hp power coming to rear wheel and one has to experience how it is put out personally!
I haven't even begun my 20s yet but I think I will start saving for a superbike as early as possible. I hope to buy one in the future. Some things are worth working for and finally EARNING them
All the best with your other superbikes in the future!

Srinath, glad you found the thread, GSXR's fall in scarce league with its counterparts, I was in one of the Suzuke superbikers ride, with 20 Hayabusa's and only two GSXR1000's including mine. Unfortunately I had to leave the country (already left now) so had to let go of my Gixxer, but this is actually moving me in closer to get hands on a 2015 GSXR 1000, rather then R1 or ZX10R but wanna reserve hands on experiencing other Jap machinery's too.Originally posted by srinath2494 View PostOMG amazing stuff :O missed this thread this long. You are too young at your age, start up gradually to move on higher capacity bikes, this gives essential learning and experience. 1000 I4's are mean and lethal. Wishing you all the best for your future dreams and endeavors.

That's so cool. Keep posting pictures and blogs of your new superbikes. I knew GSXRs were rare and then I found one in my city that I was so excited
Thanks! I wish to get a middleweight and then move on to superbikes as I have plans of leaving the country in the future. I hope these bikes are more easily available abroad and have better traffic rules to use them too! If not, I will try to get one in India with proper experience and enough money to meet the subsequent charges!
