    With the grace of God and blessing of my mother, another one (after the Heritage Softail) joins the garage. Hope you like the color on this MY 2018 (1st 2018 sold in Delhi). I just loved the sophisticated combination suiting it's 'Gentleman's Sports Tourer' tag perfectly.

              Congrats for getting an awesome machine mate .The bike really look gorgeous with the new shades.

              I have been thinking a while for buying a superbike and really confused between Z900 and New ninja1000. Currently I use a RE std and my rides are mostly in the city with a few long drives .Have seen both bikes at cochin showroom but never had a chance to test it as still no test drive bikes available. .They promised me a Z900 test drive next month but I don’t think I will ever get a chance to test N1000 .Have sat on both bikes and found very comfortable with my height. Test drove new street triple and found very easy to drive in city but my heart already went with Kawasaki due to its muscular looks. Have to take a decision in a month and I have been going through all the reviews but still I couldn’t find a comparison review between these two bikes. Currently I have the budget to buy any of these bikes and I do not want to make a mistake. Most probably I will go with the ninja 1000 due to its sweet pricing ,riding aids, wind protection , pure value for money but I have a couple of concerns which I pointed out below which I need help from experts.
              Does Ninja 1000 can be easily manageable in city traffic due to more heavier and bulkier than Z900? If there is a big difference I will go with Z900 as my use will be mostly in the city.
              What about the engine heat –which one heats up more - the Z900 or N1000 ? My understanding is the fairing helps N1000 to deflect heat away from legs. This is what I was told by showroom guys but what happens during stuck traffic when there is no air flow against the bike.

                None of these bikes are meant for hardcore city riding in our traffic. The Z900 weighs 208 kgs while the Ninja 1000 is 31 kgs heavier. For just the city use the Z900 will be a better bet. But please DONT buy either if you plan to use mostly in traffic jams. Ninja 1000 is meant for the open highways while Z900 can be called a Street Bike with occasional touring. If you plan using mostly in bumper to bumper traffic, I would advise you to look elsewhere.

                    Thanks for your observations so looks like Z900 can be a practical bike for my purpose.As i explained earlier its city and occasional touring for me ..not much bumper to bumper traffic.how is the engine heat on naked Z900 compared to N1000. Heard like more on naked bikes but is it manageable ?

                      I have had no heating issues with the 1000. The 900 should be no different. But then I don't ride in bumper to bumper traffic. These are all coolant cooled engines with proper radiator fans et al. I had ridden the 900 but did not find the torque sufficient to my liking. The 1000 completes the package for me. It has so much tech to shame bikes costing twice as much.

                              I was in great dilemma between Z900 and Ninja 1000 for almost a month now and having checked out both these bikes in Chennai but unfortunately no test ride vehicle available here so I as kind of searching for a detailed review of Ninja 1000 latest model across and then hit to your detailed review and why you chose - This hit me heavily and I straight away went to the dealership yesterday and booked my Ninja 1000.

                              Thank you very much for such lovely pics (Even in entire google search I was not able to see pics of this bike in these many angles)
