Since you brought up Navneet, any idea how well trained are their mechanics? I mean is it just the basic service (oil/filter/valve timing etc) or are they knowledeable to split the GS into two halfs for things like a transmission gasket leak, final drive etc? Something like this??

Tyres were not allowed in checked-in baggage even before the ISI rules came into effect but one could still sweet talk and get them through, even I have done that once. Now as things stand, no tyres without the ISI mark are allowed whatever the mode of bringing them into India (Unless..I think, if they come with a CBU).Originally posted by Haroon View Post

there is a naked(street) version of F 800 called F800 R.
Its very similar to F 800 GS but has chain drive instead of belt drive and has no front flairings.
I was having F800 last season before my crash in last November.
