  • [Photo Feature]: Bonding with my Banshee...My new Fireblade

My new Avatar as a SBK rider relates to James Cameron's movie-Avatar. Especially the process of becoming the Ikran Matko. An Ikran Makto is an individual Na'vi who manages to ride an Ikran, or Mountain Banshee. Bonding with a Banshee and becoming an Ikran Makto is a dangerous and required rite of passage for Na'vi warriors. The banshee is a social animal but the bonding process in not an easy one. You have to literally "connect" with your Ikran. My first interaction with my Fireblade was a similar experience. Following chart sums it all, albeit, in a filmy way

Coming straight to the point, I have bought a 2007 Honda CBR1000RR (Fireblade) from a dear friend. The list below provides you with the summary.
Note: All duties have been paid and its a bike with valid registration
    • Date of Manufacturing: Nov 2007
    • Odo reading: Less than 4700kms
    • Stock golden alloys (I havent seen these on any Honda before '08 model)
    • Showa forks (stock)
    Aftermarkets:
    • Yoshimura RS-5 exhaust
    • Puig screen fading from dark bottom to clear top
    • HID kit - 8000K
    • Frame sliders
    • Iridium plugs
    • Paddock rear-stand bobbins
    • K & N filter
    • Rear seat cowl - Got it from Dubai after sending them the colour code.
Coming Soon: My first experience with her...<watch this space>

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
