Very true! I've been watching this thread keenly and every post is sort of a disappointment! The P220 thread was way better during the hyped launch

I guess it was hyped because it was first of its kind and we were able to speculate about styling, performance...etc all day, but in this case I suppose most of the people know about baby ninja ..so there is only one thing left for speculation that is launch date.

as for technical differences in the '08 and '09, as far as i know, there are absolutely none. cosmetic differences are colour schemes i guess.

just checked the website. this same website also quotes the price of an '09 R1 as $5500, which is around Rs.2.75 lacs!!!

so i'm sure you can see that there is something seriously wrong with the prices mentioned.

The test ride report on BIKEINDIA a couple of months back gave a positive feel about the bike on all aspects and every other automotive magazines give the same feed back.I suppose if M/s BAJAJ do the pricing right,this bike is going to usher in a new era of sports biking to this country.The other SBKs like R1,CBRs are surely superb designs but as we all know way too big for our wallets.Now the "2 Lac" rupees question remaining for NINJA 250R is "when and where"?..

I believe either u are confused with the price of scaled model or its an urge to open this website full of trojans and viruses

Went to our local probiking showroom on saturday 18th october to find out when the ninja 250r will be avalible and more importantly how much........Now I have lived in the uk for many years and had some good bikes I have been back in india for 2 years now and have been desparate for a bike but have held on for a higher cc bike the karizma I like but it is dated the 220 dtsi is a nice looking modern bike Bajaj have come a long way ,anyway back to the ninja I was told that two bikes will be realesed in feburary they will be the 250 r and the 650 and the cost my oh my 2.6 lakh for the 250 and 6.5 lakh for the 650

Is Ninja 650R also getting launched here ??? If so 6.5 lacs seem to be a CBU price.

I hope bajaj will be able to localize it at least 80% .otherwise ,future ninja owners will crave for spares for months and months.yeah ,quality will sore due to localization.still it is a better thing.
