    @heyram: Thank You very much yaar.. its the toughest choice yaar.. I've less than 24hours to decide the colour.. Honda Guys have committed that I'll get delivery within 3weeks.. I think around 24April 2010. Will go and book my choice number by 2nd April. Even I love Orange colour more than black. As black gets scratchy too quick..

    Every day seems like a year dude.. I'm too happy we've got such a gr8 forum to feel relaxed by sharing our excitements..

    I'm also eagerly waiting for your Busa to land in your parking lot.. Do upload maximum pics.. And I hope we'll have a ride together soon .. U on Busa and me on Fireblade....

      Naming my Bike...

      Well, Now since I'm getting very close in finalizing the colour.. Now the other confusion..

      Name...???

      Honda calls it Fireblade, my friends call it Diamond, And I'll call it.....

      Dont want to call end to the excitement.. lets see what xBhpians calll it..

        call him PRIME..optimus prime...leader of the autobots!!!...my R1 is called IRONHIDE as its the black/matt color!!!!and everybody loves the ironhide name!...and one more in ukraninan language...dream is called MRIYA...

          Guys, I came to know that Kalyan RTO People were demanding Bill of Lading and Bill of Entry papers alongwith the Invoice. And that were not given by Suzuki before.
          I'll advice you to ask company to furnish you with each and every document related with your bike, so that it doesn't create any problem.

          Even I got confirmed from Andheri RTO that they are not registering Imported Bikes as they're unsure whether documents are valid.. WTF???

          I feel Govt. of India and DRI authorities should issue circular regarding the same so that the Genuine buyer's dont suffer.

          This is the reason I've decided to first gain information from Honda whether I'll be furnished with each and everything and What will be the Registration procedure.

          Tomorrow Meeting Fixed with Authorised Honda Dealer and will have direct word with Honda Regional Office, Delhi .

          Tomorrow is also the Date of Booking, Hope everything goes smooth.

                    Dude...I dont mean to confuse you further, but you might wanna check if they have any plans to get the HRC colours here...These are limited edition bikes with good colour combination. I learnt that Honda is going to change its model from 2011 onwards, which means the new models can be seen from sept/oct on their website. If this is true, the will come with the 2010 limited edition bikes this year. My guess . Also, did you ask them if they can get Repsol for you?

                      Congrats for the Blade.
                      I am a huge FireBlade fan myself. I will be in a position to buy one after 2012 only.

                      Regarding the new version.
                      Honda is following a four year cycle. The 2004 model was completely changed in 2008. So the new model will theoretically arrive in 2012. The new model will carry its weight centralization theme. Do not expect it to bigger than the current one. Let us hope it does not have the flat face look. It does not look as aggressive as the former one.

                          Hello All,
                          I just had conversation with Mr. Ankush, Honda. Can say that these guys are so friendly and co-operative that I feel that my decision in investing in Fireblade is the perfect choice. He cleared all the queries from my part.

                          He promised that if the need arises, they'll furnish the original bill of lading, bill of entry and all the concerned documents required during registration and post-registration.

                          He also assured that everything will be handled by them and it going to be smooth process.

                          He also committed the delivery of bike by a date. Will let you all know the date of delivery of my Aphrodite after giving the booking amount.

                          Hats off to Ankush.


                          At the end, I'll say that booking is still painful as dealers are still not properly trained. My local dealer has assured that he'll arrange the bike for me. But when I confirmed the same through Ankush & Honda Wing World, I was informed that only few dealers are authorized to take bookings of SBK's, and my local dealer is not the one.

                          Ankush will confirm the authorized dealer for non-octroi zone registration by 1st of April and I'll transfer the payment to the concerned authority.

                          Will announce the delivery date on 2nd.
                          Till then fingers crossed... Hoping all goes well. And wish the excitement of getting SBK doesn't fades coz of these non-sense people who just want to misguide the buyers.. viz. non-authorized dealers.

                          Will update if anything new comes by and hope to get advices from your end too.
