Update is very disappointing.. Been at Bank.. and as they say.. its pain in a$$.. Canara Bank people demanded few more documents to sanction. Submitted..

Will get the confirm report by Thursday.

Lets hope .. fingers crossed..

I thought this week we were about to here a good news, but no other option than wait....

Today morning I called Honda Japan, to ask them why such immature behaviour with SBK customers in India.

Asked them few questions:
1) why DEALER IS NOT READY TO COMMUNICATE PROPERLY WITH CUSTOMER.?
2) why did they didnt updated me that bike is coming to Mumbai?
3) Why Dealer is not ready to complete Registration Part? (For a Normal 2wheeler they dont give vehicle without registration, and for such SBK's they're not ready to do this!!!!)
4) Who will be responsible if bike gets stolen before registration as its taking longer than usual??


I called them at early 8 am as it was 11.30am at Japan.

Got call from Honda Wing World Mumbai by 8pm IST. They're shocked that why did I raised the matter to their Head Office..???

He gave me the biggest shocking NEWS...
"Bike has not yet arrived at Dealers warehouse"

I was shocked by his this statement.. I'm getting calls from saleperson from Aditya Honda, Vasai that my bike is lying in their warehouse since 7days, and why i'm not making the payment.

You all wont believe how restless I've been since I got the fake news from Honda Dealer.

I'm totally dissatisfied with HONDA and seriously not interested in going with the deal.

I feel that Yamaha and Suzuki are far better than HONDA.

Honda Wingworld said that he'll take care of registration part. And bike wont be unloaded from Truck until and unless i'm not present.

I just feel like kicking Aditya Honda Dealer's A$$.. how can they fool their customer. Actually they put me in depression that my bike is lying there and have to arrange for money thru bank as quick as possible..

Even the Canara Bank people are fooling me.. Today when I went there to inquire about the process, they said that Head Office had emailed that they require few more papers. Its been 10days I've submitted all the documents, and now he's asking for other papers. Now He'll send the courier and will wait for their response.

Even HDFC bank guy is having fun at his holiday leave..

Totally sucked.. and the excitement seems like fading..

I really wished we didnt had Tax as such on a developing country. Atleast we would have been able to spend our money the way we wanted to..

@Manish: Sad to see the state of affairs at Honda, and to see they are keeping their premium customers under false impression is really unacceptable! I do not know about YAMAHA or SUZUKI being any better in this regard, though. Suzuki might just be a tad beter, but YAMAHA, I doubt!

Anyhow, I really hope everything gets sorted out quick enough for you to get the machine! Getting to know that the motorcycle hasn't yet arrived is a shocker of a news though, whereas all this time the Honda guys were shouting at the top of their voice asking you to make the balance payment. Confusions abound!

Did you contact the Sales Head with whom you had earlier spoken to?

dude this is really sad......

a customer.. who is about to buy the signature bike of the hondas...is being treated like this is just crazy...

i still think you should write a email. to commercial head of honda in india..... or some guy on top and tell him the state of the dealer.. and how misinformed u have been kept....

we pay a 100% additional tax... and this is what we get in return its just shamefull.....

and same goes for banks... first they think we are crazy( which we are a lil )

and then they act like crazy......

I just spoke to someone in Honda who takes care of CBUs. Your predicament seems to be a result of a mix of factors like custom issues, miscomunication etc. But as far as I could judge from their tone and the detailed explaination they gave to me about your case - they are indeed commited to satisfy you and ensure you get the best litre bike in your garage soon!

Do update us on whatever happens!

I double Sunny here.... I've never in my relation with honda 2 wheelers have felt like they are slack in anything. I think Ankush and Sunny are good friends now, yes ?
Bear in mind that Honda has very strict policies of their own, which do not go down well with the babus and the govt. people.... they have caused many delays for honda..
The dealers are big fat liars... keep in touch with Mr. Ankush only, he will give you right info.
and trust me, I want my whole garage to be honda, cars, bikes, all... that sums up my experience with honda quality.... enough honda ?

ps- i dont wanna start about yamaha...they are not even close to honda...

@Fireblah: He is dealing with Honda Wing World, Mumbai (judging by his post). Will the bike be sent over by the guys at Honda Wing World, Delhi? If it is, then I am sure Ankush would be a great help. He is a VERY very helpful guy.

Yeah I'm in touch with Honda Wing World Mumbai.Bike will be despatched from HMSI, Gurgoan. Ankush been busy with custom dept. hence couldn't catchup with me..

Even I'm honda family. I got 3 Honda Activa, 2 Honda City, 1 Honda Shine and my future Fireblade.
I love honda for quality, for building nature friendly machines and refined engine.

I wont shift to Yamaha or Suzuki. I'll stick to honda. I believe that this wait is going to be worthwhile.

Ankush bhatia was busy with Custom issues.. And hence he was not able to update me personally.

Got few calls from Honda Wing World Mumbai, they assured me that bike will be unloaded only in my presence. They also assured me that from now on, they'll be handling my bike personally.

Sunny maybe i'm getting bit OT: i'm your big fan for photography.. I keep taking inspirations from your photo shoots.. and now after your post, I feel very relaxed regarding my bike..

Having very busy schedule for somedays, and also have to finish these bike formalities from bank if any pending.. (dont know when they'll demand what document) Lets see when my Aphrodite comes at my garage.

It is not fair to start a Yamaha or Honda brand war, but yes all is well in good spirits, after all whatever bikes you all own you will riding together, and a 1000CC is no joke, be it any brand.

@rohra: I would be playing my part for anyone having a problem with Yamaha too, but I dont have access to the right people in the company since they believe in doing things without cooperating at some levels.

Also, I saw the photo clicked by me you used on your blog, but thats alright!

before their dealer was handling this case which he was not able to actually. so now just got called from ankush bhatia, and he too said that if i seek any help regarding the bike i should call him directly and not to aditya.
by the way who is phekobazzs u pointing to big bro??
