5 stars to Honda

honda have been very co-operative since few days. few hours back, Ankush Bhatia called and solved all the queries and also said that he'll have word HDFC BANK to fasten up the procedure.

he also assured that bike will leave HMSI only after complete payment from me...
and also confirmed that REGISTRATION will be done smoothly as the Maharashtra Commissioner has directed RTO to register these bikes with the immediate effect.

lets hope things go well and smoothly and fast from today..

hey kabir, you wont believe.. today i went to check up what's going on with Canara Bank, they called HO and got the news that 2 wheelers are eligible for loan upto 1.5lacs.. WTF!!! if this was their bank policy then why did they asked me to wait for 10days..

And now their manager is asking me to wait till 6 in evening and he'll talk personally to HO and get my loan sanctioned.. Bull$$hit..

I called up HDFC guy rightaway and asked him to get the papers ready for loan. He said that by today they'll arrange the meeting for signature and PDC's..

will update further by evening..

Just got call from Canara Bank. They've approvedy loan. Might despatch loan by Monday.

Hi Ram, actually now I think I'll be reaching my Destination - Aphrodite after this volcano eruption soon.. If I get my loan amount by monday then i guess bike will take 5-7 days to deliver. WIll love to have your presence during the delivery.. hope you're in mumbai by the time aphrodite arrives..

Riding Gear - Part 2

Hello,
Now since the loan is finalized and just few bank formalities pending from their end, I decide to get my remaing riding gear..

Will check work load on my site tomorrow and if its bit low.. then will rush to PRS and finalized Helmet, Gloves, Bike Cover.

I need help in choosing Helmet.
1.My budget is anywhere around 7k - 15k.. Please suggest me a good helmet under this range.
2. Should i go with full face lift or just the normal ones??
3. What Brand is good.. (Honda shared a secret that they're upcoming with Studds Helmet with Honda Design... where do studds stand in safety wise??)

Am no expert.. but the BLADE deserves the best and Studds(ISI marked) and Fireblade is not a good combo, obviously they are good helmets for our small commuters but for an SBK safety-wise they don't stand anywhere (in context to speed u can achieve on the SBKs)

Your budget-wise go for AGVs(DOT certified) or Joe Rocket(DOT certified) (they fall under 15k)..
