My 2010 CBR 1000RR (C-ABS)

    Trick or Treat !
    The white Busa you see is the same from the "My lovely lady in white" thread.
    The other Fireblade is from the the Banshee thread, courtsey Ashtorque.
    The 4th bike is an 04 Gixxer 600 in its truest form.

    The white elephant needs to be seen in person. It overshadows all the other bikes. I am never ever parking my Blade anywhere close to the Busa again.

          I am just loving the Fireblade so much that I am ruining my health and habits big time. I am undergoing intense moments of love and affection with tears in my eyes for the performance that the Blade is throwing at me.
          Its like my health has been switched onto a 'self destruct' mode. No EAT No SLEEP No NOTHING. If our days werent this hot I wouldnt even bathe myself.

            take some rest, the 1000RR is just for you, none of us are eying it

            ^^would like to know the lap-times of both 600RR/1000RR in our chota Indian tracks, but i am in no hurry

                        • The bike goes bersek after 4.5k rpm. You have to experience such thrusts in power to know what they feel like.
                        • It has torque everywhere. 6th gear, 40 kmph and a little twist to the thottle makes the bike dial for some Torque from a never ending reservoir pool of thrust and you surge ahead in a pompous manner.
                        • Doing the above at 40kmph in 1st gear however is nondescript. You dont have the time to even enjoy the extra torque with those levels of power thrills gushing to your brain and barging into your thought processes.My mind cannot compute as fast so as to digest the kind of thrust and know exactly what is happening.
                        • The brakes are just infinetly superior to anything I have ever ridden till now. Right now..since I am not exceeding my speeds beyond 150, I sincerely am least worried about stopping in an emergency. Partly for I can come to halt from those speeds in 2 seconds and partly because I know I can be a noob and can grab those levers with my full might and yet not lock the wheels.
                        • Gear shifting is like operating a Lee Enfield rifle bolt. Its the same thing every single time..the same precision.
                        I don't trust any of the above , but a ride on the blade will confirm all this if its true

                          +1 +1 +1. I was gonna say the same thing. How can any one believe that such an ordinary looking, small size bike can have so many attributes? It dosen't even sound loud.

                            A new set of pics from my California Superbike School Sessions just came in by courier this morning.
                            Thanks to Kirosh in chennai again.
                            The pics got nothing to do with CBR1000RR but I cant resist but upload them here
                            It was one helluva experience to be on the track with all the Red Rooster Racers. Only 6 of 21 students were lucky to have Andy Ibbot as their coach (Andy coached Thomas Luethi who then went to win the 250cc MotoGP championship)
                            By sheer stroke of luck...i was one amongst the 6 who had Andy as their Coach for 4 gruelling days !
