My 2010 CBR 1000RR (C-ABS)

    Even R1 has almost 0 engine braking.... this was one of the first things i noticed on the blade a year ago (yes blade turned one last week, all including me missed the bday ).
    I do not know the exact reason for this.... maybe these bikes have light flywheels, which reduce the momentum caused by crankshaft.... same reason why they slow down considerable more than others after releasing the throttle...

      Might be because of super-light internals.

          R1 having 0 engine braking might be due to the slipper clutch.

              When you say of 0 engine braking for the R1 you are talking of the 2010 Crossplane R1 right ?
              The crossplane R1 when I test rode it was engine braking much like a 2 stroke!
              The 07 R1 had ample of engine braking.
              Blade doesnt engine brake like the 2010 R1 but its not braking as hard as the 600RR either..

              when i ride bullet before my bullet was solid condition but i once race with a Ceilo car and my engine size. mechancic say bullet is good bike but no racing. it is good for three people and very powerful.
              one day when i become rich i but ducati and then I race with cars. not now.

                lol yeah the guys face is really happy. But that aint me. He is the one who runs and owns MotoCafe that you see in the background. We are often hanging out at this joint in the evenings. Playstation3, F1/MotoGP races, Soccer/cricket matches, Bike magazines..if u wanna indulge urself in stuff like these while gulping good food and coffee you gotta hit up the Cafe!

                  OT: Bots are small scripts which do seemingly intelligent tasks trying to replicate a normal human behaviour, like right now a small bot is writing mails on my behalf following up with vendors and my boss thinks I am working hard! Gee!
                  Bots can be good or bad. Like someone said about a DDoS attack (not DoS attack), or a bot that shoots spam mail!

                        Hey Tenhut, I'm a lil late but nevertheless, congrats on the new monster.

                        I just love the color scheme on the bike... and i cannot imagine how delicious it would look in the flesh. Man, do carry a box of tissues to wipe the drool off the bike.

                        P.S. You gotta run this in too or rip away from day1?

                        Have oodles of fun and ride safe. Once again, thats an awesome piece of machinery and a superb color scheme.... cant say that enuff.
