madmax RD's will be there,my 2paise-buy even a junked up RD for 7-10k.just check for coils, carbs and barrels r all there and nothing is off the bike,u can then slowly restore it back piece by piece.

yes rajnish rd is a good bike to drive. the power which this bike generates is great. just rev up ur bike and feel the rd. a beginner will slip down to the back seat on his first ride. the thrust of the bike is amazing.

      Keep riding ..........

I saw an RD for sale here in hyderabad- dude was asking for Rs.20,000 -Negotiable! It was in reasonably good condition. The MAJOR problem is that RD parts are prohibitively expensive here. Do you think I should buy it? (considering that I will use the bike for approx 5 months)

are you talking about the bike belonging to Sanjay at panjagutta sai baba temple. If yes , then it is not worth it.I have seen and ridden that .The bike is sleeved and also its documents are not intact.

btw i am chandan from ameerpet .

                  rajnish,

here in hyderabad , nobody knows about ron chinoy and every rd owner says that our hyd mechs can match his work.I even came across a guy who says that he can provide a brand new barrels of rd for Rs 7k.

Is there any way we can check for sure wether the barrels are genuine , fake , sleeved , nonsleeved?

the stock bore size is 64mm and it is not tough to differ the sleeves from the stock liner.in 7k it's a damn good deal.look on the previous page on how to know if it's a HT or LT barrel.
in india as for now ron's work will be unmatched by a long margin.

then how on earth can u vouch
for the quality of bikes ron's
                          churning out?????
n state that his quality of
work is way beyond anybody in
                          this country......
i guess that is being far too
                          subjective
n just a afterthought... how long
have u been riding rd's.. (no offence)

for his work there r a lot of guys here who got things done off him and r pretty happy.and now even rx and 4st bikes r done.and the pics.put of the bore jobs and customer feedback speaks for itself.anyways there r ppl who like his work and him,i'm one of them.he is a authority on the RD here.if u know of a better person do give me the details plz.
anyways i'm riding a rd for sufficient time to answer a question or a quarey.

exactly i want i wanted to say
customer feedback speaks for the quality..
but just coz somebody has a jazzy site
and posts pics of all he's doing with all
the tech jargon thrown in doesnt necessarily
mean the bloke round the corner in a small
workshop cant conjure a faster rd...
ron maybe good but the best??
                              i have my reservations?
how come his drag rd with lockup clutch
n all that jazz never shows up for ne drag meet
c'mon dude give it a thought, w/out prejudice that is.
but going all out n saying he's the very
                              best 'without' seeing/riding his job
                              is a bit far fetched[8D][8D]
dont ya think so [?] [?]

see pal ppl have driven his bike and told about it.unfortunately i haven't.kabir is a friend too and has got his bike done off him recently.he chooses to take his bike where he wants to like us all.my view is not biased for him.shortly i'll have a HT/LT setup from him, then maybe if u have a rd we can race them some place.or even if u want one now do let me know.the group member's bikes r doing 160+true speeds show his skills.but he has no claims, keeps a low profile.speaking of profile,ur's shows no name no details??and i ask u again do u know a better guy?
