Ok but you need not worry about that it can take even more if you take proper care like checking regularly if the oil pump is working,do add 2t oil in the petrol sometimes,RX cylinder kits are tough/strong thats the way its made even a 15year old cylinder if you bore it port it can easily take todays any 150-180cc class smile and keep riding safely

not necessarily. A good oversize can last as long as a standard bore from the company ( depending on riding conditions, 30,000-50,000 kms ).

Guys I ordered a first oversize TKR Japan piston kit yesterday do you think it was a good choice? Ran me down to 1.1K INR including shipping.

Guys I have run into a bit of a snag with my RX, until 1/4th throttle doesn't matter what gear the bike is in it is always bogging. Like it is out of gas but if I wind it up to like 3/4th it starts working fine. Any ideas?

Oh and the bogging problem goes away if I completely tighten the pilot jet screw which obviously leads to black and mucky spark plug

Hey yamdoot my bike is running on the stock pilot jet and yes I was referring to the air screw. The needle jet is at the first cog from the top Do you think I should try the second cog? IMO I don't think needle jet kicks in till the throttle is like 1/4 open, I think it kicks in somewhere around 1/2 and goes till 3/4 after which the fuel is supplied by the main jet. That's what I think but eh I could be wrong

Is it 1/4th or 1/8th? Check your needle position? It should be in 2nd from bottom. What's the color of your spark plug? Are there any leaks in form of black oil that is found near the mouth of the exhaust?

it should be at third from the top.. if it still bogs, try the 4th clip from the top. Open the carb and clean all the jets and holes and passages carefully. Remove the brass tube on which the main jet is screwed and clean it too.

I think it is still mucky which means running too rich what say?
