yes sort of but not exactly jerking really hard to explain it in words as if it was like saturating or something like it was misfiring but it does not bog down anymore

does it jerk like when you are hitting reserve ,it happens because your pilot jet is clogged get the carb cleaned that should solve the problem, my kb had similar problem after the rebuild

No no that problem is gone!! The jet needle adjustment solved that problem. There are 2 problems now:

          1. It won't idle anymore. If I start it up with the choke and let it sit around the engine dies after let's a minute as if it were out of fuel. I guess I need to clean the pilot jet?

          2. At around 40 kmph or something the engine starts going as if the spark plug was going bad. Like when you open the throttle wide on a cold engine and it goes like burrrrrrrrrrrrr at the top of the throttle. It is really hard to explain

Guys problem solved! The spark plug had gone bad, I replaced it with an NGK R that usually goes into a Bajaj chetak had to tinker the gap a bit but the idling problem has been solved So first I cleaned all the jets in the carb I couldn't see anything obstructing any of the jets. After putting the carb back in I started up the bike and damn the same problem again. Out of courosity I thought to myself heyyyyyyyyy let's check the spark plug and to my surprise it looked okayish the core had the grey tan. So I was trying to torque it back into the head and bam! the ceramic thingy broke! Got a new plug torqued it in and started it with choke. I was expecting it to die again but to my surprise it kept idling! hahahahaha problem solved!

What's the price of the friction plates? Was it less than 60 or more than 120?
Edit - Just saw the image; yes, they're the latest ones & very good one. Go for it. Should've costed you around 600ish (4 speed) or 700ish (5 speed)

Crankshaft will NOT have anything written like Yamaha or anything.

man now rather than hot chicks in skimpy clothes.. i think seeing pics of OEM parts from Yamaha for the RX series gives me a hard on... best of luck man, and i hope the effort pays off in a smooth, sexy sounding machine...

Re: Question(s) regarding Yamaha RX100 engine overhaul

Dear Members, Kindly answer my question.
I have YAMAHA RX-100 (1986-Original ckd Japan Model)
During last servicing I changed my accelerator wire.
At that time I also topped up my 2T Oil Tank to full.

Yesterday i realized that, In just 821 KMs, my 2T Oil tank is almost empty.

Is it correct consumption rate of 2T Oil for YAMAHA RX-100? Or is there anything wrong??

                                Please reply
