No wonder RX is called the Pocket Rocket in India. RX is probably the most mod-friendly bike ever manufactured in India.Originally posted by RX88 View Post

Are you sure the inner pipe of existing RX needs no change !!!Originally posted by RX88 View Postchk this apache setup karthik may be you might prefer this instead of some other i have gone through some threads and many have said its a direct fit to the RX only have to under go change of the lower suspension pipes, the fiero hub & necessary required brake cables
Apache front end is heavier (The dia is also different) than Gladiator's & hence i dont prefer it & more over the Gladiator being a Yamaha bike i would prefer it anyday. My first choice would be a RX-Z disc setup (Which i can arrange) but then the issue crops up with spares, whereas the Gladiator spares are available in abundance.
I am no way saying that Gladiator Disc setup is the best, but it sure is the apt choice for RX series (Including RX-Z).

I doubt this highly; after having done an extensive research, I've dropped the idea with my Rx. It MAY be a fit to 135, but not with 100.Originally posted by RX88 View Postand many have said its a direct fit to the RX only have to under go change of the lower suspension pipes, the fiero hub
Could you explain this pls?Originally posted by RX88 View Postnecessary required brake cables

Saar, what is fork pipe? You mean the steel ones on the top or sth else? If its the top steel ones, they're not interchangable so easily between 100 & 135.Originally posted by RX88 View PostI too havent researched brother but the fork pipes for a RX100,RX135 is the same no difference

PM Sandeep K Ram on this forum; he's brilliant in that subject; I got to learn basics from him & then conducted my study. From Rx's perspective, THEY'RE NOT INTERCHANGABLE without involving good sum of money (which I blew for my learning)Originally posted by RX88 View Postbut you know what argee when i had gone through threads related to the apache disc setup on the RX/RX135 guys said that they changed only the lower suspension pipes, apache disc, feiro f2 hub saying its a direct fit and no alterations
IMO, just forget the RTR setup, as its designed entirely for a 17 inch wheel while Rx is for 18". May be think about the old Honda Unicorn that came with spoke wheels & 18 inch (its rare again).Originally posted by RX88 View Postany way if you come across pls update as i am in search of a disc set up for my RX,hunting for the Z setup accidently if lucky if i find it i will go for it or else?
Best bet would be Gladiator or Pulsar setup.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
